hey everyone its been a while since my last postbut i just need some insight on medical cards here in michigan, and wether you think i might qualify or not. i know nobody online can say for sure but still helps i think.
so let me start at the beginning. Ive had mild to severe lower back pains for near the past 8 years due to a slip on the ice, i know it might not sound serious but im still feeling it even right now and think it might qualify under severe or chronic back pain since its been with me for so long. ive never been one for prescription pain pills all they do is make me sick.. mj really helps with releiving some of the pain as well as help me sleep, relax and just feel better and i dont wanna have to worry about going to jail anymore for something i feel i deserve the right to use.. im only 26 and look younger so i wonder if some places might draw conclusions on me bcuz of my age..ive never had insurance so i never really been to the doctors for anything besides(sever toothaches)so i have no medical records but understand the place near me does not require them but i would need to see there doctor 3 times over a 90 day period(once a month)instead so thats not my problem.
I was just hoping someone with there card could share some experience on what to expect when going to one of these places to help get me my michigan medical card. anything would help, even ppl without there card with a opinion chime in n let me know what you think...
thanks ahead of time

Overall, I know there is a lady whom drives up here from downstate. AS LONG AS THE PAIN IS CHRONIC YOU CAN GET YOUR CARD, restate that, as long as you have documented proof from a licensed DO or MD saying you have had chronic back pain, and have had you minimum of three visits you should be fine.

I got my card in september for my degeneretive disk disease (sp? sorry, my right click isnt working so I can't use spell check) which manifests itself in my lower back. I.E. Lower back pain. Actually, back pain in general is one of those pains most doctors wont F' with you over. You say your calf hurts and they go "I'm not feeding your addiction!" you go in with back pain that seems legit, even just a little and they almost throw the pills at you. Back pain is one of those things tons of people have and its a serious issue. You talk to your doc and especially fi its not your first time, then mention you were thinking about the card and they will 95% of the time either go "of course, give me the papers" or "I have no idea, I won't do it, but I will support you and make sure the paperworks there so you can bring it to someone who does know about it and is willing to sign them for you." I had the ladder, and it costs a shit ton, at least here $300 >< Just try and get the paperwork asap, I waited until I wanted to go do eveything and show up and they are like "sure, come back in 3-6 weeks and we will have a copy of your paperwork for you! :D"

In short: hellz yes
