Okay so i wanna know if maybe 400watts of cfls will work good enough for some like 4 plants? 100 watts per plant..

Oh can i use a smaller container to make a hydro system and is there any ways i can make those baskets outta something?

So i have fish pumps and tubing just need a container and some baskets. Shoot some answers at me about the baskets and such :leaf::leaf::leaf:

You can make some pretty small hydro systems. As to making baskets, I suppose you could but they're cheap as shit. Tell ya what, get yourself a Bus Tub(Like restaurants use) and use it as a flood tray, then you can use something small like a old plastic kitty litter container or detergent bucket/5gallon bucket and you'll be fine.

You can make it either as ghetto or as pro as you want man.

Yes, you can.

Not that I know of.

You seem to need to read a lot more on hydroponics before you begin this endeavour.

I know im pretty newbie ill look into more of this.. Plus i got a couple of days Shit why not use them there so cheap i was looking into buying a HPS but why do that atm when im a newb. If i feel like i need to go more advanced after my first grow aye. I will then =] I might do hydro or dirt first im really not sure.. I really dont wanna keep getting bigger pots and stuff if ya know what i mean and I know theres these E.C levels and stuff so yep mite just stick with dirt. my ph level is decent around here from the tap.

I personally find it cheaper just to buy what you need outright rather than gradually stepping up, eventually leaving yourself with a shed full of useless shit. Instead of dropping 50 bucks on a CFL setup, you can save that, pay another 30 or so and get a 150, which you can eventually use for something else or re-sell it if you outgrow it.

This way you'll be assed out of 80 bucks, rather than 130. I hope that made sense, I'm rather tired haha

Couldn't say for sure on that one buddy. I still recommend HPS for flowering. I'm not sure, but I think most people here would advise against CFL flowering but I'm still learning myself. Hope you get a straight answer :P

those lights might be fine to veg but i would not waste my time making baby fluffy buds with those lights. Get a real light (HPS) to flower at least imo.
