Hi, Just Wondering If Some of the fetilizer im using for my veggies would be fine for my Stinky little ladies. The Band Is Aquasol (http://www.yates.com.au/products/fertilising/water-soluble/aquasol/) and its a 23-4-18 mixture
Nitogen-phosphous-potassium.

They Are growing nicely atm, ill upload a few pics when i get back. :) They are an afghan and a random strain. Im Growing them under 1 20watt cfl 6500k light each at about one inch

schould be fine Im sure ... from the NPK I say its for Veg .. need more P and a lot less N. doing flowering .. or you will get problems .. but for early grow/veg I say its fine if that is your only option .. I know Ppl. with small budgets use tomato nutriens as it come close ..

and please get some more light ;)

Ill SHow U My Lights atm. Its just a short term option as $ is an option. But ill Be Buying and building a 4 double bay banaster t4 system soon enough. I Also Have my lights about One inch From My Plants and im Using a 24 hour system. My 2 Ladies Are About 9 days Old and are abit wilted as i just Transfered them From The seedling cups into those 8.1litre containers and gave them a good watering ( I Water about 2 days or when 3inch depth feels Wet, But will invest in a water gauge soon.)

Ooh yea and plants/seedlings look nice ..

how old ? and what kind of soil ?

pots look good .. is ther a few nice drain holes in the bottom ? and remember to have some nice 3 gallon pots ready for in about a month or so ..

is ther a way you can plant em outdoor now you say your in Australia ?

I belive your wether is kind a perfect ?

if not you realy do want more light/CLFs ..
atlest as a minimum get a cheap 6 pack of 23W (5000K) and 3 Y-splits .. schould not be that costly ..

and will make the diffrent from tiny yild of flimsy buds (I reccon 5 grams if your lucky) to a ok smoke .. maybe ½ a oz each if you dont fuck sumthing up along the way ..

GrowBox9.jpg

a good example of a low budget grow box ..
but still able to grow smokerble buds and if done right .. maybe even 2-4 oz evry 60 day with 4 autos in ther .. but thats just how I would do it .. with a few PC/bathroom ventilations on top/bottom and a clip on fan in ther aswell .. a camping madress (as I reccon you cant get ice covers for car windows down ther ?) as wall cover .. low budget but able to grow some buds and can easily be upscaled along the way .. a small 150W HPS in the future (with a cool tube I reccon as temp. in Ausi is hot to begin with)

My Biggest Issue Is that i rent, So I Have TO Try An Keep It small and get it hidden in case of a house inspection. Nope, Carnt Grow it outside, We have had some really nasty cold snaps and i fear my ladies might die if left outside (5°C-7°C) last night. My Ladies are 9 days old, Im Using a premium soil with a slow relese fertiliser. Yup Lots of drainage holes ect on bottom,

Ive been struggerling to find the right lighting fixtures for my needs. Most places demand that need a electrician licences to buy things, but ive found some cheap light cords and plugs that ill Do up my self and Add some Banister t4's

Ive Tried To Find those y banister light fixtures but i carnt find them anywhere.

If Anybody knows of any Places in australia TO Buy these from id be greatful.

well a good T5 or T8 (or T4 ..dunno dont know them or ther Watt ?)

no.1 is T5VHO but T5HO is fine .. if you cant get that go for T8 58W if you cant get either of em .. see if you can get CLFs with as high watt as possible .. atlest 23W or more ... and atlest 4 per plant ... try to mix the Kelvin up a bit .. but got for 2700K 5000K and 6500K in general and you cant go completly wrong .. and normal fittings is also fine .. use what you can get or have ..

and if you rent and want to keep it hidden I would find a nice old carbinet or closed .. can find em chap used and make a stelth grow carbinet ..

tey to google it ..

well I have been thinking about makeing a small T5HO stealt grow ..
since my tubes are the 5 feet type I will build a 6x3 feet box/carbinet .. and about 4 feet high ..

I will place 8x T5HO 49W tubes at the top (4x2700K and 4x6500K)
I will fix them so I keep the light at the top and move my plants up and down ..

at one of the ends I will fit my 6" ventilation (a 4" would proberbly be enough but I allready have a 6") and fit my carbon filter on it ..

and at the other end I will just make a intake hole/s (tho I do have a pice of tube I can runn up to one of my passiv intakes over my windows in my appartment so it can pull air/co2 in directly from the outdoors ..

inside I will also place a littel clip on fan or two ..

thats about it ..

and I will mostlikely grow 4 Autos ... 60 days wonders or sumthing alike .. in 3 gallon coco .. from start to finish with 18/6 light/darkness all the way ..

and hope to pull a oz per auto evry seccon month ..

p.s.
I will try to make room enough in ther .. to keep 4 cups at one of the ends .. so I can start new Auto seeds in ther 2 weeks before haverst ..
and that way haverst evry 6th week or so ..
