Quick One Auto Fem. How many hours of light?

Gentlemen, here i go with the second million-dollar-question!

My three plants are all of the same type: 'Quick One' autoflowering, feminized.

I've read tons of stuff on the net, guides and tutorials, but the whole 'self-informating process' could end up being misleading..

Generally people say that for autoflowering feminized plants you need to assure at least 20 hours of light (from 20 to 24 hours to be honest, that's what i've read), regardless of its period.. which means 20 hours minimum for the whole growing/flowering process until the plant's buds are ready to be collected and then put to dry process.

So the question is: is it true? My Quick One really works like that? Do my plants need those hours of light regardless of their growing period, or do i need to follow some schedule?

Every strain wants something different.

Do you have a link to the seed you bought? The grower usually provides the best number of hours.

My white russian auto wanted 18hrs

And my ultra lemon haze auto wanted 12hours.

Research your strain but yes most autos I've seen want 18hours light all the way though till the end.

They are not photo period plants, the lights cycle doesn't affect its flowering time the same. Autos have a pre determined life expectancy. Regardless what light you give it.

Stick with 18hours of light the whole way through.

If they say 9 weeks and your new at this I can almost bet it's going to be more like 10ish weeks. Buy a jewelers loupe 30x. Their very cheap and you'll be able to watch your buds for when your thc starts turning from clear to cloudy to a little bit amber

make sure you plant in a 5 gallon pot. the smaller the pot the earlier the auto will fower. as soon as those roots hit a certain point than it flowers so bigger is better in this one
