well there is a cabby that had a single 250W hps in it and now there has been an extra 40 Watts of fluro (tube) added to the bottom. Now the question here is will this help at all? or is time and space just being wasted? It has been noticed that before the extra 40W was added the bottom leaves were not getting much light now they are getting some....

any input is appreciated..

Thanks.

Side lighting cant hurt. If you are in the veg stage you can leave the flouros on during the 6 hrs you hid is off. Or what ever time schedule you use. I am actually not sure how much it helps. But I have goos luck whit this method. Happy Trail!

Yes, it is worth it! 2 of them wud be more worth it
40w isnt crap on the electricity bill anyway and as stated extra lite doesnt hurt, unless your grow room is ungodly hot already. since its a fluoro, it will help a lot if you make sure it is as close as you can get it to the bud sites. also i dont know if this is just the weird genetics of the bagseed im growing but my t8 fluoro tubes do absolutely no damage to a plant if it grows into them, not the bud but the fan leaves. mine stay barely warm to the touch in the sixty degree room they are in though. either way it also helps to tie a few branches up so more of that light gets to the budsites instead of the leaves
