hello livingwparents,i have only been growing for 10 months, but i chose auto`s coz of their speed of finish.i read somewhere that you cant clone auto`s coz they wont go back 2 veg, also you will be lucky if they are big enough 2 clone.on my first grow, skunkberry auto from just feminized,i took clones from 2 plants.i took them from the first internode as they were the only ones big enough at 4 weeks, and i could see the pistils starting 2 form.i took 4 cuttings, but only one took root, more luck than skill,as i was brand new 2 all this.this clone never grew more than 6 inches tall, but at harvest it was a solid ball of bud about the size of a grapefruit, yielding half an ounce of dried weed.i dont know if all auto`s will do this, but in my opinion it is worth a try.the older the mother plant is,and into flower the harder it is 2 clone,i done mine at 4 weeks.nothing ventured, nothing gained.good luck in your grow. ps pics of the plant i took the clone from bout a week after pic taken.also pic of nearly finished plant.sorry none of my clone,i lost my phone wid pics in b4 i cud put them in computer.

it is generally recommended to not clone as auto because the clone will be the same age as the parent plant. being an auto, it would probably result in poor production. GL

the plant i took the clone from made 2.5 oz,and another one i took cuttings from made 3oz,which is above the seedbanks estimate 4 skunkberry.also the clone kept flowering and gaining bud 4 weeks after i harvested the mother.maybe they wernt as pure auto`s as they shud have been. i`m not saying its rite 2 clone auto`s,or wrong, but it cant be wrong 2 experiment, otherwise we wouldn`t find anything out.i am only telling you my experience of cloning an auto.
