1-is topping possible before flowering or after flowering or both?

2-when turning into 12/12 shedule from 18/6, should we follow a special tactic or directly changing 12/12 to 18/6?

3-what/how is the light shedule in Autoflowering Strains? 24/24 lights on?

1-topping is done at veg stage i just toped a rez chemdog d x sour diesel i grew it for 6 nodesthen toped it back to two nodes trying to root the top now just toped thursday

2-when i switch i normally give 36 hours of dark inbetween transition then at first light i give bud blood

3-for autos you give 20/4 or 18/6 if you go lees yield will suffer 24/24 no good plant need down time to grow properly

good luck

You can top autos as many times as you want. But the trick is it takes a week after topping for growth to get back to normal rates. So if you top to much your plant will start flowering and it will barley have vegged because it was taking a week to recover every time you topped it.

If I was you I would try the FIM technique you pinch off the top 80% of new growth and leave the other 20%, same as topping but you don't have to wait a whole week for recovery.

Edit: Yes you want to put your plant in darkness for 24-36 hours. Trich production will really kicks in by doing this, all the pros will tell you the same thing.

1st and 2nd question for photoperiod :)

i want to top the top of main stem and if extra branches appear, then i can top off these extra branches too..
so i dont want to clone... just topping and i asked "should i do that in veg period or flowering period".
and diwezel said it as "done at veg stage"

thank you all

You do not want to top during flowering only veg. Why would you cut the new branches? that is the REASON that you are topping man to get more tops, its going to hurt your yield ALLOT if you do that.

i didnt say i want to cut the new branches completely
i said could i top the newbranches too ?
Oh my mistake. Yeah you could for the same effects, but just keep in mind that it takes time to recover and with autoflowers you aren't in control of when flowering starts.

Now if you had a none autoflower strain you could top 20 times and have really bushy, branched out plants but it would need a longer veg. I veg for a month to month and a half.

At 10.00 per seed, the more plants I get without completely doing away with yield the better. I do have more question HeavlyMedicated. A dumb one at that, but I've been concerned about having room for the roots. I have 14 places to plant but I can not see a plant getting any size at all if I was to use more than 8 to 10 of these sites, true or false? One other also, when I bought this thing I paid for a CO2 injection kit. I got the real CO2 kit not that Boost thing that cost 105.00 to refill every 60 to 74 days. Should I go ahead and convert over to the propane conversion!

i also wonder something that "why are my plants short although they are 1 month old" ? How can i get more nodes and stretch a little faster ?
(on the contrary of this 2nd grow, i have had stretching trouble in my 1st grow) :D
-they are about 5 inchs
-they are in nice quality organic soil with enough rifted pots, good PH and perlit, and enough lumen for each plant. (in total: 175 W cfl 6400k, Plant unit: 4, plant heights: 5 inch)

HeavilyMedicated, when I bought these Auto's I was thinking there was no way to get a clone, another reason no AK47. They say after 2 wks that they start doing there thing. So if I'm to understand you correctly, when taking a clone off these Auto's I need to take 80% of the main stalk and cut at 45 degree angle so it will branch from there? My only concern is if the plant goes into flowering that I'll end up with next nothing. He'll if I can get an oz per plant that was cloned I wouldn't be too disappointed. They're only supposed to do 40 to 50 grams inside anyway if I rber correctly.

You need your lighting 24/24 or you can get away with 20/04. If I'm not mistaken there's a whole forum dedicated to your question.

i couldnt find my answer here.
i only want to know if i go with 24/0 or 20/4 or so on, should i keep this light shedules till i see the roots or till i place the clones in soil ?
which also means "when will i change it to 18/6 ? (normal veg shedule)"
