All jokes aside I've never carried in my life. I never thought about it. I've been in some rough areas and never have felt really threatened. But my daughter and I after grill out today talked about all of the things going on and we may get cc permits. She's a nurse and sees lots of very angry people now. Things are changing. It's sad what direction we are taking. And it seems nobody gets it. Glad I'm 70.

Oh, I get it.

Our society is coming apart due to being squeezed by the widening income gap, making everyone feel less secure and making more people desperate just to survive.

It's a recipe for violent crime, distrust and fear.

Shared prosperity makes for a safer society, which makes for more prosperity for everyone, including those who are fortunate enough to be rich and pay higher taxes.
