Ran Question

I posted pictures of some of my plants in another thread if you could look I would appreciate. My question is...What about all those big Fan leaves all over the plant? Can I trim them off so the bottom buds get exposure??? I think the fan leaves are helping with the rain, not sure. It rained for 16 hours and I mean a hard rain. I shook them off this morning but it is going to rain again~!! It is too much of a hassle to cover them not to mention it will draw attention. Do plants tolorate rain well??? Someone said to get air moving inbetween the plants but I can not put a fan outdoors. They are in the ground and they were started 4 weeks late~!! HELP!

I have to say I need this to mature. I have 2 horses and money is tight this year. God I remember 10 years ago going to Jamaica and Peurto Rico from growing. Now all I want is to buy my hay @ 4.50 a bale I need 250 bales. How much will one plant yeild anyway?

Sorry one more thing...I have been fertilizing with 10-54-10 it is Schutz fertilizer. I do it every other day and then the days between I am using molasses. Is this wrong??? My plants are in the garden and the garden has black plastic this keeps the roots warm at night. My plants have passes the neighbors I think because mine are in the ground and theirs are potted and they used clones.
CAN I CLONE ONE OF THESE FLOWERING PLANTS???? If so HOW?
