Random Thrip Problem

I have been seeing random thrips here and there for the last month, and I have tried using neem oil and even tried pyrethrin once to combat these thrips, hoping to kill them all off and prevent the next round from showing up. Every week or so I'll only see literally a couple of thrips in the grubbish stage crawling around on my leaves. I was hoping to get rid of them entirely to prevent a problem from getting out of hand, so I went to the local grow store and explained that I had about $25 to work with and I was trying to get rid of thrips and he recommend that I give SNS 209 a shot. The problem has not got out of hand yet, but I was just wondering what to do yet. Should I give the SNS 209 a try, or figure out another solution? After reading the bottle it didn't look like it would kill them off, but more of a preventative, which isn't that what the neem should be doing regardless?

I went ahead and picked up the SNS 209 when the guy recommend it, however he said that I could bring it back granted that I don't open it. I was just trying to figure out if it's worth opening, or just simply take it back and get what you're recommending or something similar.

Has anyone even heard of this SNS 209? I won't be able to take it back until tomorrow, unless I decide to go ahead and use it.. kind of wanting some input.

^This.

Every gardener should have a bottle of Spinosad. The brand I use is Monterey Garden Insect Spray

I use "Greener Cleaner" personally, lol.

Can't go wrong, just don't burn your plants. They all work.
