Rapid ph drop dwc

New to the dwc.




i have 6 buckets coming off a 6 gal res.I mix my newts .pour in res. let buckets fill and then top off res again. as water is used up res tops off buckets. no air stones at bottome of bucket. I have air pumps that push water up to a ring and then water drips through back into bucket. Any idea why my ph drops so fast. within a day it will go from mid 6 to mid to high 4.Start my ppms at 1000 and after top off the res ppm is at 600-800. Leaves are yellowing from the bottom to middle.


To small a res? to many buckets off one res? ppms to high?

you might have to small of a res for 6 buckets also add some airstones in there the more oxygen in your water the better trust me your plants will love youfor it. i like the idea of your setup can you get some pictures up?
