Rapid Rooter in Hydro question

Anyone use rapid rooters in hydro/aero? This is my first time using rapid rooters. I have 10 seedlings that are stating to pop roots through the sides of the rapid rooter.

Should I just put them in 3" netpots covered with hydroton?

sweet....i was worried they might stay too wet

I use RRs and they are great but - they really suck up any droplet of water so you have to be careful not to get them too wet.

they will be in hydroton with a water cycle of 15 on 30-45 off until i get my cycle timer. Shouild I try and trim off as much of the RR as I can?
