rapidled DIY horticultural kits

I seen they have a 3 cob kit that was priced pretty fair as well.
I agree, however I should not have to spend money on lights for the next 5+ years at least. I really like the kit though I also swaped some of the leds in the kit to get a bunch of warm white to mix with the neutral white,... I like the spread, that 45 watts goes pretty far when it comes to side lighting. In this picture I used them to complement my 250 watts COB bar, basically adding around 90 watts to it on either sides for a total of 430 watts, I have 4 a51 90watts too plus a couple cheap led bulbs so that room is rocking 800watts top notch LEDs. The canopy is around 4 x 6 so pretty close to what a 1000w would cover. As far as lighting goes this is pretty much the ideal setup for me right now, a nice mix of 2700K-4000K LED, a nice mix of COBs and LEDs. I am stoked.

Why would I be offended by your compliment? I was among the first to grow with LEDS on this forum like 5 or 6 years ago, more light = more buds. I'm still under 50 watts per sq ft. Which is far from overkill I'm still 10 watts per sq ft under what a gavita DE would be.
Roger that but it looks like a lot of lights, and cords.

I'm at 50w per sq/ft with my COBs and I've had to back the lights off a bit. My buds are incredibly frosty but there's slight bleaching in the top fan leaves.

@Tyeb173rd are the bleached tips under white leds?
Yes. I had the lights way too close. It's since been corrected. I'm 18 inches from the canopy now and they have never looked better. This next round I'm going to keep the lights at 8 feet and let the ladies stretch real good.

I use more light but keep them farther. Once the lights are hanging and setup the way they are now I never move them except the 2 vertical ones in the center are easy to move if I need to move a plant in or out.

1 Original Lumigrow, 1 eBay el cheapo, 1 357 Magnum, 1 "300 watt" Vipar, 1A51 SGS, 1 XGS, 1 75 R/W, 1 W90, Optic Vero 120w and Northern Grow Lights Photon 180.

Only a51s, Optic and of course the Photon 180 are in use now but that is my led history. Lots of junk before the first a51. Really like the 3500k 90 cri Citizen used in it.

The whole point here though is I have a piecemeal lookin' tent also since I picked up the best I could when I could.
