Here's some pics of the SG and SLH out in regular light that I just took.

They will be 9 weeks of 12/12 on Sunday and in the last pic you can see where the light has bleached the top of the main cola on the SLH. I just couldn't get the light any higher so it's a little too close.
next time could you put up a soda can or lighter for some size comparison? lookin good !

No way! That would make things too easy, lol. Seriously though, I was looking around for something and didn't see anything handy that everyone would recognize for size comparison. They aren't really very big but the plants themselves are small to begin with. The SLH is just stretched and lanky so it's tall, thus the light bleaching. Oh, and thanks.

They are looking good eventho it has been light bleached
Thanks. I'm glad it's only the SLH that got bleached and I'm glad it was only the top of the main cola.

hey dez that stuff looks good im looking at dinafem blue hash &blue widow as well as www.bcseedking.com purple kush & www.bcbuddepot.com the purps your slh & s/g is sure purdy i cant wait till im there man your stuff is steady getting better
Thanks bro.
Those are all great strains you're looking at. I've never had blue hash or Purps but they've had good reviews on here anyway. I have a seed of the blue widow that I'm hoping will be a decent mother plant for a batch of clones, I've heard and read good things about it. The guy I built the grow facility for has a bunch of Purple Kush going, maybe I'll see if he can hook me up with a little once he's got some cured and ready so I can try it out. It'll be a while for that though since it's all vegging right now and will be for another week or so I think.

Got my new grow room all built and light tight. Hung the 600 temporarily and haven't put the DWC or the vegging plants in there yet since I still haven't decided on exact layout or orientation of the cooltubes. Think I'll leave things how they are until Monday and then I'll section things off inside and get everything in it's perm location.

I'll put some pics up once all of the plants are in there together and things are cleaned up a bit.

Picked up a Can 33 filter today and stuck it in line with the one cooltube that's hooked up to try and curb the odor leaking out into my garage and house.

That sounds cool man. I'm hoping to get mine sorted out by the end of the week, mainly because I have a hard time with things being a mess. It bugs me constantly and makes it hard to sleep and junk. I'm one of those people that has to have things clean and organized or I'm just not happy.

I agree with you on that. I was trying to do a perpetual with one flower room and it's a pain in the ass trying to make up for the different characteristics of each strain. Some need more vertical space while others need more room to branch out. so you're always moving stuff around to adjust the height of the shorter ones to keep the tops even and running out of square footage due to the fat and bushy strains squeezing the others out.

That was my experience with it anyway. I'll be sticking to 1 or 2 strains flowering at a time going forward and if doing more than 1, doing it in soil so you have the option of propping up the shorties of you need to. Tying the tall ones down only goes soo far and then they start to crowd the shorties.

and they crowd themselves. a lot of bottom popcorn if you dont do aggressive pre flower trim, ive learned that the hard way. next time im doin 1 strain

I'm going to have 3-4 mothers going pretty soon here of different strains but only plan on using cuttings from 1 or 2 per run and switch off between them. The clones I picked up are looking healthier than when I got them but I noticed today that the leaves don't look quite right. I'm wondering if their 4th or 5th generation clones or something and could end up with deformaties if I take clones from them. I'll put some pics of them up once I get things settled in a bit better so peeps can give their opinions.

The next plants to go into flower for me will be 3 Headband and 3 Cataract Kush as long as I don't kill the seeds, lol. I've got some germing right now since I know I won't have any clones ready from my perspective mothers for a while. Hoping to put these under the new 600 that arrived today in about 4-5 weeks from now. I got the Veg E&F set up in the new veg area today so it will be ready for them once they get nice roots in the rockwool cubes. Going to veg everything under the T5 light flouros and figure I'll need to get one more once I have some mother plants that are of decent size.

if clones are easy for you to get i wouldnt keep mothers for 1 or 2 clones every couple months. it wil cost you more money in electricity and nutes then 2 clones will. that veg room might be better served as another flower room.

I've got a 600 over a 3X3 table right now and another 600 just came today that's going over another table. I don't hink I need another flower room. The plan was to have mothers of 3-4 different strains and every 4-5 weeks I'll be starting a new run of plants in flower under one of the two lights. If I have 3 or 4 mothers I can do one or two strains in each run of plants and have different stuff every month. I only want to use the mothers for two rounds of clones or so each and then I'll grow out a new mother of a different strain to replace it. Clones are $15-20 each around here so I'd be looking at around $120 every time and the quality is hit and miss so I figured I'd just keep a few of my own under t5 lights and CFLs and scrap or flower them when I replace them with newbies.

Besides, I've got a few people that are always hitting me up for clones so I'll keep the best 6-8 of each batch and sell them the rest. I think I'll be better off this way but I won't know for sure until I give it a shot, you know? A buddy of mine tried it and recently gave up and started just buying clones when he needs them thinking he'd get better quality bud for some reason but I'm not so sure. I think his problem is in his grow practices and not the clones he was taking. He grows under a 600 and only gets 1/2 to 3/4oz per plant, vegged for 4 weeks! I have vegged plants for two weeks and flowered them under a 400 and got 1 1/2oz per plant so I think it's in his growing practices.

I know another guy that grows a couple plants from fem seeds, take as many cuttings as he can from them and scraps the moms. Then he'll veg all of the clones for 4 weeks, flower the strongest ones and sells the rest to a dispensary. He just starts a couple plants from fem seeds every time he scraps some moms and he's always got clones ready to go when his flower room is empty. I considered going this route too so I can save on space and not crowd myself in my new room. I'll decide for sure when the seedlings I've got going are ready to take cuttings from.

I just have a hard time shelling out $120 every month for clones and then being restricted to whatever strains are available at that time when I can choose from the huge library of seeds ahead of time and grow exactly what I want.

yea im in the bay area and can pretty much get whichever strain i want cuz all the dispensaries. for your friend growing 1/2 oz per plant it could be his strains, conditions, technique but its hard to tell without seeing it, but imo that yeild is unacceptable. in my first run i had 3 plants veg for a month under a 400w and got 5 1/2 oz . seeds are just as expensive as clones if not more. when i order from the attitude my seeds cost on average 12$ a peice. i understand you get freebies but those arent always strains you want. if youre going to mother from seeds for a few months atleast youll get your money worth. if youre looking for clones i know a place where a guy takes his. he has beautiful plants and is in the so cal area just not sure how close they are in relation to you.
