Ratty's At It Again!! White Widow Round 2!!

I finally decided to start my second journal. I am starting out using the clones from my first grow. Same setup different location. I am using a 600watt hortilux hps with vented light shade, 465 cfm fan, and I am using general hydroponics Floramicro, Floragrow and Florabloom, and Sunshine 4 soil mixed with lime to help control ph. I had ph problems with my last grow from using too much lime so I cut down on the lime I used. As some of you may remember the clones took quite the beating before finally rooting, and as if that wasnt enough since my last grow I once again forgot about them:evil:. So I am hoping once again I can nurse them back to health. It's been 1 week since I replanted them and they are starting to show new growth. Here are some pics of the new room and the sad looking clones. Once again all comments are welcome!!

those are sad looking, but i bet they'll pull through.

I gave up on my cfl grow, they dont work for shit. I have a big bud plant 2 1/2 months old less then 13 inches tall and small pittyful leaves.

I have a 600 watter just like you but the cost of power during the winter is killing me.

I ordered a 250 watt metal hid / hps combo, i'm going to start off with that and use the 600 watts in the last month.

i still have 60 white widow seeds, i wasn't stupid enough to waste any on the cfl thingy.

good luck for this go #2

If you put clear plastic containers over the top of them with a few holes punched into them they will perk back up:blsmoke:

I missed your first grow, so ill be sure to stay tuned for this one. That dude (greenweed) dogging on CFLs must have had some bad luck, click on my link below, all CFL. Its not even a month old and its flowering more than many HPS/MH grows I have seen on here.

But anywhoo Good luck on those poor seedlings, they look burnt. But these are the most resilient plants I have seen. Im sure they will come back.

I'm not too worried about them pulling through. I have put them through worse. Superthrive seems to work good for reviving them. Greenweed and Nat its good to see you came by. I hope this one turns out a little better then the last one. and Robbie I have checked out yer grow, I believe I've even commented in there a few times. Yer plants are lookin nice. I will be updating pics often, but not until they actually start to grow again. I'm sure they will get over the shock soon. Thanks for stopping by guys and stay tuned.

hey ratty.....looks like you got it going again.....my clones went through a tough time in the beignning but pulled through like real troppers....I expect you'll see good results. have you tried some regular misting? I didn't and always wondered if that was something that could have helped mine?

I dont think misting would help in htis case. I am leaving my light on 24/0 to keep my temps up. It gets too cold here to have the light off, and that would burn my plants. Thanks for stoppin by.

i've grown plants all my life, i have never had so many problems.

I cant find good soil, wall mart and lowes sells mud, sand or fert soil and it's just not cutting it.

also the temp in the room was too cool most of the winter.

mostly the soil, i add water and it ran right through.

then i'm thinking big bud might be a very slow growing strain, i alwys just planted good commercial seeds but i'm in a new state and dont know anyone to get any.

but i have my wihite widow put away.

i'm just waiting on my 250 watt light to get here and spring so the power bill drops. i live in a free house on a farm and it's too obviouse with the increase in the elec. bill cause i ran elec heat all winter.

it was just too much to run heat and lights. i got stuck with 2 150.00 dollar bills as it is.

but i'm sure i'll work it out.

I have to go back to the hydro store, they gave me the wrong glass for the 600 watt light, so i'm picking up some good organic soil.

i'm sure it'll work it's self out.

but i've been pulling my hair out all winter, every plant died except the one big bud. it's driving me nuts.

that damn fert in the soil is killing everything.

Well I manged too revive the clones. They all have new green leaves on them now, and they are starting to grow nicley. They were topped when they first rooted so I wont be doing anymore topping so hopefully this time around they will get a little taller. I have 9 ladies this time instead of 6 so my yield should be a little better too.

I think it's been about 2 weeks since I planted my sad looking little clones. Today I gave them thier first feeding. they are real troopers they have pulled through once again. My tallest plant stands about 8" tall 2-3" more than the others, they were all around 2-3" when they were planted. So far its lookin good. Remeber all comments welcome!!

WELL I GOT MY NEW 250 WATT METAL HAYLID / HPS COMBO

I can afford to run this,,,....so i planted 10 of my 60 WW and am looking forward to it.

i kept my big bud, but it's sooooooo slow growing. I'll prob. butcher it while the WW grows.

oh yah, got some great soil, no little fert balls.

soaked all the plants i did have in water and removed all the soil, transplanted them, it's been 3 days and they're bending towards the metal H. light. 2 big bud and 1 kahuna.

man this has been tough, almost 3 months and all i have is this little bitty plants.
never had problems like this before.

i hope it's all down hill from here

your's look like they rebounded. good fer you. cant wait to sample some WW myself.

Thanks for lookin guys!! I gotta say the widow is one tough plant. I always like to compare with others who are growing widow its nice to have something to go by. The girls are doing great now they are growing quite fast now and they shouldnt have anything to slow them down now. I'm gonna watch these babies like a hawk. I have a ph tester this time around so my soil ph shouldnt get outta control I hope. I will post some more pics later.

Well all is going good. the girls are growing nicley but for some reason its only growing 3 leaves for the most part?????? maybe its cause of how bad I beat the shit outta them. Oh well they continue to grow so im happy!!
