Re-Vegging After Harvesting Your Baby

You say it's necessary to repot because your plant will need more room, but what about in an Airpot? since the roots grow out and continually get prunned off anyway, would I need to repot? or just let the roots continue how their growing now?

Having to re-veg sucks, but it has saved some tasty strains from extinction. The plant loses most of it's original vigor(slower vegging and slightly lower yields afterwards). I've had some indica strains that just wouldn't re-veg for nothing. I lost a super fast orange tasting pheno of nirvana's old swiss miss(now swiss cheese), because she didn't have branches to clone so figured I'd re-veg but no she just stop growing and died after flower.

I suggest always taking at least one cutting for the purpose of never having to re-veg. A clone will root under a clamp light w/ 14watt cfl, so no excuses; clone it up, son. lol

Although I must say re-veg ingoor plants make great outdoor plants for summer, if you don't have room to do fresh seedlings. The root ball makes it worth it since the slower plants have all summer to veg out.

Im revegging one of mine, I didn't re pot or even touch
it after harvest, I left a tiny leaf set at the very bottom of the plant
and watered it.

It has taken off well and Is ready for a couple clones now.

i have reveg successfully without repotting in smart pot, I repotted after the plant had successfully revegged ,.. well i added supersoil at the bottom and put the whole root ball back on top. i dont think plants lose vigor if you reveg long enough. Now I repot aggressively in small container to save space and for the next little while I will stop taking cutting and only reveg my special plants, ... easier for me.

If you already have a clone that has flowered and you harvested, are you likely going to experience hermie traits when you re-veg? I ask this because I did a staggered harvest, and am going to do my second harvest tomorrow. I'm not sure I have enough fan leaves to support a re-veg? Also after the first harvest, my plant has shown signs of being stressed as I have found a couple seeds but no bananas. However the strain is fairly uncommon/rare so I would be interested in whether I could re-veg and do a third/fourth harvest? It seems alot of people do this technique from seed, or a mother clone, but not an existing clone that's gone deep into flowering already.

My strain is Ken's OG, 14 weeks into flower (first harvest at 11 weeks)

u see the plant in the far corner, cheese #1 revegged very quickly, i have no dates for u but it really seemed like she had new growth after about 2 weeks only. because i have limited space i was quite aggressive with the rootball and as u can see i really didnt leave much on her.

repotted the root ball in plain pro mix with mycorrhizae and no notrients yet. she needs a little nitrogen right about now but have not got around to feed her yet.

Here is my Herijuana Jack that I reveg'd.
As you can see there was nothing left from
the previous harvest. Just a nub and a small leaf
set like the size of my pinky.

She reveg'd great and I have taken a couple clones to start a new mom.
She is back in flower now with the others in the tent.

Strawberry Diesel just finished re-vegging. Cleaned up under her skirt a lil bit and now she will be in straight veg for another month or so.

Its in perlite/hydrorocks. Hempy style. Havent done anything to the roots. Should i? :) But wanting to transfer to dwc when it is ready.
Nah cant say ive had anything resembling. Lemons so powerful you carry the taste long after the exhale. Its just a winner for me. And i got it from 1 seed what a great seed :)

After looking through all the stuff for reveg here lately it's got me thinking what if you got a girl going indoors and used UB's 4 cola topping method.
Threw them into flower asap. Leave it in the flower room until it's forming colas.
Tossed her back in the veg room so she'd kick into full reveg. Not touching the flowers or anything or taking stuff off. Just lots of budsites for new growth.
Then threw her outside and in the ground when daytime hours were around 13 and climbing.
If it stayed in veg mode throughout the summer months in theory you'd have a real monster on your hands. That'd be a lot of work but a crazy idea.
