Reading books whilst high?

evenin' (well, nearly morning where i am).

does anyone else like to read books whilst high?

a friend recommended it to me, and he was right.

in particular, the lord of the rings. watching the films high is amazing, reading them is something else!

i seem to just get sucked into the story so much it feels like i'm not reading the book anymore, instead it feels like im in the book. haha, if that makes sense?

unfortunately i'm ignorant and don't read books! ahahahaha...but love shit on the net and mags when i'm faded

I find reading the same paragraph over and over and still not knowing what's going on a bit frustrating.lol

Indeed i do, I get very drawn into the story when im baked... Give me an interesting read and a bowl or two and ill kill that book quick... Although only a certain type of book appeals to me while im high... Like u said lord of the rings, There was c series called the dragoncrown war cycle i liked, and mostly fantasy Lotr type stuff... Lol and im not gonna lie that sounds kinda lame when i write it but i tell u what it keeps me entertained sometimes so f&*% it lol

i find fiction/fantasy books to be my favourite. much more entertaining than "real life".

I love to read while high.Time really flies by then.

I've been doing that all day. trying to finish cats cradle by kurt vonnecut before tomorrow.

I think I read faster when I'm high, feels like my eyes move easier.

I definitely read quicker when im high it doesn't make sense but i do too! It helps me skip the filler words and finish the page faster while still getting the important content

I love to read when high. I only read fiction when I am blazed. Just finished Steve Barry's series. Fucking invigerating.

I personally read slower when high. I hang on every word and ponder deeper meanings...

It really helps me get into the story.

i do this one when im sober.. lol but i do love readin history books

I love reading while high, specifically Lord of the Rings. Also, I would recommend The Silmarillion while high too; it seems to help when drawing the disjointed histories together. Unfinished tales was good too; I was stoned reading the entire book

I like to read a lot of Hunter S. Thompson when I'm baked. I feel like I can hear his voice better rather than my own annoying ass voice...

So... damn this thread like 7 years old lol but anyway ima put this here. So i like to read books, and be high, both of them combined is also nice and i have done it so much, but not for a looong time... until now . But the thing i noticed and this is a new thing, i cant remember shit!! And trust me its not becose im too high or im not reading focused, whenever i read i make my position so comfortable that i can just fall in the world of the book and feel like ur living it, so its not that im not reading properly or anything like that but this is just fucked up xD ive noticed, a book that i read high nowadays ill remember it for 2 weeks or not even that lol then 80÷ of it is gone. But all the books i have read sober i can remember perfectly... this is bad becose i like reading high, its awesome, but if i cant remember shit then whats the point... xD any people have the same thing?
