Ready to Harvest? Pics

Do you think this is ready to harvest, almost 8 weeks flowering. If you think it's still too early would it be ok to take off the top bud to open up more light to the lower buds and then there'd be some bud to try.

It's a Red Dragon strain.

definately not done bro, buds still have a lot of swelling out to do and from the looks of it.. resin glands are still pretty clear, i'd say they still have at least 2 weeks.

jorge cervantes advice, "when you are absolutely sure they are done....give them one more week" haha... took me a few crops to realize how much of a difference it makes in your final product.

don't just go two weeks because that's what we say, wait until the buds are done swelling all the way and the resin glands are at least all milky and starting to turn amber depending on the buzz you want. If you want something to knock you out, wait until they are at least 50% amber or more. when buds are done growing, the resin will start to change pretty quick.. this means they are ripe at their best potential yield and ready to cut, dry, and cure.

It's been another week and there hasn't been much if any growth I can notice. Trichs are creamy so I was wondering if this is about as far as the plant will go. They are under 6 x 20w 2700k cfl's. Setup is very basic so would you expect much more growth?
