real purple haze

this seems to be a uncommon strain lately. not seen many ppl growing it.

i read a few posts about purple haze but it wasnt the right genetics or something and they were just given the name purple haze.

does any1 know where i can get real purple haze from?

Its gone forever man, genetics got lost i believe.

Jimi Hendrix took a hit or two of purple microdot and wrote a hit song....the rest is marketing and dreaming.

not to say that there are not GREAT hazes out there. The search to find the "real" purple haze will be as fruitful as the search for the pot'o gold and the end of the rainbow. By the way the real pot'o gold is now available.

Use the great genetics that ARE available and give it a kick ass name....people will be searching for YOUR legend.

IMO there are too many people that think if a strain has a purple hue or even purple buds than it must be purple haze.. I'm sure you can find something close to suit your needs.

I really think the real Purple Haze is just a pheno of original Haze, I have smoked both and while I think the original was more potent that could have just either been a characteristic of the pheno or the conditions it was grown. The buds from both that I had basically looked identical just one had purple hues. They both had a very similar high and both extremely wispy light buds. I bought a ounce from a pal that grew the original and it lasted me almost 2 months, and I never got immune to it. It was to this day the best weed by far I have ever been blessed with.

It is a pheno of orginal haze.It is the columbian gold esspresion in the OH.You can still find the purple haze if u look through enough seedlings.Notsure how common she is though..Not sure myself the diff between orginal haze and oldtimers haze.Hope this helps.

pinkus has it 100% correct. The only reason ppl are like man Purple Haze is the greatest was all because of the late great Hendrix. There are much better strains out there that are naturally purple and the whole "purple" hype is wayyyy overdone. Almost any strain can turn purple if temps are low at the end of flowering so it has NOTHING to do with how potent the bud is nor the high that it gives you.

how far down you gotta set the temps to turn them purple? and for how long? ive heard bout this but wasnt sure if it worked

it will depend on the strain but normally if you hit low 60's during your dark periods then only get back up to like low 70's during light they should change for you.

never heard that but i know there is some kinda of fertilezer you can use at the end of flowering to make shit turn purple but i dont know what it is. Again tho purple is just a bag appeal thing to people that dont know anything about marijuana and just hear the bullshit hype about purple bud.

ya i was just wonderin cuz i grew some clones i got from the club that were suppose to be purle haze, granted they were the best out of the 5 different types i grew but they werent purple at all

color is just bag appeal, this is a cross between a haze blood kept since the 70s and a cross of god bud x dreamweaver....
Not bad for $33 for 10 beans...That seedbank is a ton cheaper than most as well....
