really small weed plant experiment

before you read on dont post comments about how im wasting my time and such. i want to do this as an experiment not anything serious. my goal is to harvest a joint lol it will be fun.

anyways im going to just take my desk lamp and put it over a weed plant in a dixie cup and let it grow about 6 inches then force it to flower by using the lamp only 12 hours of light a day.

if i flower the plant after it is 6 inches tall will it stop growing taller?

Make sure you use a CFL light if it's from a lamp, and keep the lamps close to the plant (1-3 inches away no farther)

i am actually trying this right now. they stopped growing so fast and have little crystally buds. i think it was a success but i will only get like a joint of two.

check out my first couple of grows the plants were fuckin tiny and ugly looking :) i forget what my first plant yielded maybe and 1/8th or a 1/4 lmao im talkin like 5 inches tall.. and y wouldnt you just 12/12 from seed in the first place?

did you stop it from growing at that height by force flowering it or did it just happen to only grow that tall?

here was my retard i think this was my first grow it looks awful, thank god i can get decent looking plants now from experience lol look at my soil it was mg organic and it was dryer than the sahara good lord i think that was like a gallon pot with only 1/4 of it full of that mg organic

i dont believe it would work out by starting at 12/12 from seed

if you look at the 12/12 grows they all finish at good 36"+

you will get way more then a joint

im doing my first 12/12 grow now and it will put out more then a joint

according to RandyRocket you could get 1gr per watt on a 12/12 grow

idk though you said its an autoflower so maybe a 12/12 from seed would do the trick

but i really dont know

no i didnt say i have an auto flower strain seed, the other guy has an autoflower not me.

so your saying that if i veg my plant until it turns 6 inches high then flower it i wont be able to make it stay small? and i see those pc growboxes online and they say you can grow small marijuana plants in it because apparantly when the plant gets too hot or close to the light they usually know when to turn back and stop growing taller.

i was just saying that i dont think that going 12/12 from seed would be the best method thats all !

you can grow in small areas like that

i dont know how they keep their grows like that , lst or what

id like to know myself so i could do a micro grow lol

like i said i just dont think 12/12 from seed will give you what your looking for !

plants can double or even triple in height when flowering starts. i would reccomend going to 12/12 when the plant is half the height you want it to finish at, and maybe top it the week before. and i know this is an experiment but maybe get a second desk lamp because i don't see how 1 bulb will flower the plant, even if it's right on top of it.

all im sayin is 12/12 from seed would give you the smallest results growing it natural without topping it, obviously vegging would allow it to grow and then flippin it to flower will stretch even more, the 12/12 helps skips the veg period and puts it straight in flower i believe.. i have never tried it but theres tons of 12/12 grows, shit just grow autos they flower in 3 weeks, and stay short, thats what i do... fuck all this 12/12 18/6 all the way and your good lol
