Recovering from a high PH

Does anyone have experience recovering from a slightly high water ph? I've been using filtered water for about 2 weeks. I just got my new Hanna ph meter and found that the ph of the water is 8.1. My plants have been growing a bit on the slow side, and some of the leaves have started curling downward and turning brown. I've corrected the ph to be at 6.1 and flushed thoroughly. Will my ladies recover? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

I had the same problem and they were fine. How did your turn out?

The first 3 weeks my plants went through that with a PH of 8.4. Luckily at that time I was good to go for transplanting since they were still in 6'' pots. After the transplant their growth sped up quite a bit. Heres how they look now.

The 2 in the litter box are interesting, being my first grow and all. Those cute girlies have struggled since they were seedlings. Notice the curled leaves? They are not dry at all they feel just like the leaves on the other plants. I can curl the leaves up, down, and make them straight. they're both healthy and started increasing their growth this past week. The nodes are so close together on those 2 its crazy i'll have to try to take a good pic to show. Anyway They will be fine, if you planned on transplanting go ahead, or give em a good flush.

Edit: They are 7 weeks from seed today.

Edit Edit: If this helps yesterday I have identified female pre flowers on all 8 plants and no seed sacs yet!
