Two Durban Poisons that I'd started from seed in an 18/6 indoor environment since April 1 were put into the ground outdoors on May 2 with day length of 14+ hrs. One of the plants took off after a week and is doing great. The other decided to stretch out and to go into flower.
I thought: "Well, the days are lengthening so I'll just let it reveg and continue on." It's now been 6 weeks, my day length is 15+ hrs, and the damn thing is continuing to flower and stack on buds, although, not at the rate I'd expect in full flower, but flowering nevertheless. Veg growth has seemingly come to a halt.
So, what you all think I should do? If I let it go as is, what do you think the outcome will be over the summer? Let it ride; cut off all of tops and continue on; or pull it and put a new seedling in the ground?
