What seeds did you have in reserve?
L.S.D.
An old Skunk variety crossed with Mazar. - Called LSD by the Barney's Farm crew because of its powerful trippy effect. It was developed from ancient genetics long established in the Barney's Farm seed bank. Crossing Skunk #1 with a potent Mazar they created a very powerful Indica strain. L.S.D. is a hardy, disease resistant plant that responds well in all grow conditions. The flavor is intense earthy chestnut with a sweet musky smell. The LSD produces a euphoric, almost psychedelic experience. It’s a super-trippy and very powerful stone, a Barney’s Farm special.
Magic Bud
Magic Bud is the finest blend of indica and sativa. This strain produces plants of fine stature which in turn produce beautiful resin coated buds in a relatively short time, approximately 50 days indoors. It is a pleasure to see this plant grow, because of the somewhat bushy growth patterns, a little more space will show the full potential of this plant. The yields are medium to high for the short flowering time and excellent quality. Magic Bud smokes smooth with a pleasant floral aromatic taste when dried and cured. The effect is relaxing but powerful.
Pineapple Chunk
Barney’s Farm have crossed the famous “Barney’s” Pineapple with the Barney’s Cheese/Skunk #1 with the intention of breeding in to this new variety the essence and flavour of these two delicious strains. The result is an extremely vigorous and stable plant. A mould and disease resistant plant which flowers into a beautiful conclusion in just 55 days. The essence and flavour of Pineapple Chunk is immediately obvious. Its aroma of earthy Cheese is backed up by a secondary scent of Pineapple. The taste is delicious and unique. Earthy flavours underpinned by a strong tasty Pineapple aftershock. Pineapple Chunk is most rewarding. A huge giver with a massive THC output and low CBD gives a powerful couch lock effect.
All seeds are feminised.
I have just planted 2 of the Magic Bud seeds - it seems to be the shortest flowering period and I think it will be a totally different smoke to the Red Dragon.
My previous attempt with the Magic Bud ended with my killing the plant as it was deformed at birth and not a healthy plant.

im wondering if collodial silver is toxic depending on the method the ppm could be extremely highb? ive only ever heard of growers sacrificing plants for seeds but i may be wrong... dont want anyone being the first person dying after smoking weed :P

Drinking CS is fine, it is sold in health food shops to be drunk, it's also good for skin ailments, foot fungus, crotch rot ... so it is fine to ingest and fine to apply to the skin.

As for burning and inhaling the CS ... not sure on that one, but the silver molecules are very small and relatively non existant compared to the other crap that we inhale everyday.

The plants that I use for pollen production will be very small and depending on the number of visible trichomes I may just trash them and not use them for hash production - I'm certainly not going to miss their hash contribution.

The CS (as far as I have read) bonds with copper elements within the plant structure and stops the copper being used in ethelyne production ... what I am getting at is the CS ends up inside the plant, part of the vegitative matter, not part of the trichomes which are collected for hash.

The plants that produce the seeds will have not had any contact with the CS, just the pollen from the CS treated plants, so they will definitely be used for hash, canna butter or tinctures.

... and if you bought locally you would pay at least 10% more because G.S.T. gets added to stuff sold in Oz.

I don't know how we managed before this interweb thingy.

riddleme does not perform his making it rain technique on seedlings he waits for them to grow out of that stage b4 he starts...also the burn is from 2 things at that stage u dont need the light so close...i learnt this the hard way...and u shouldnt be feeding it any nutes yet either...found that out the hard way aswell...i corrected these two things and my grow took off everythings look great alot of fast growth!
I have found that you can start to use nutes as soon as the cotyledon start to shrivel up and die, usually about a week after sprouting...

I had a female Sour OG that I sprayed with CS about 5 times in the span of 2 weeks in an attempt to make her turn hermie... Suffice it to say it didnt work, however her smoke was perfectly fine, better than fine actually, so I dont think spraying her a few times will have any detriment to her smokability....

Did you make the Colloidal Silver yourself or did you buy it from somewhere?

Stuff is looking great! Is that some nute burn in the beginning I see? If so try putting the soil in a pot and just pour water through to take out that time release food. I have found that Miracle grow can be too harsh for seedlings straight from the bag sometimes. Hope this helps

I made it myself with a clean silver necklace, like .995 pure, left it overnight, for a total of 12 hours, the water definitely had the silver particles in it because when I held it up to the sunlight it glittered like crazy

The beginning is long gone and any nute problems sorted out.
There were no slow release nutes, the mix is home made with composted cow shit and worm castings being the source of the nutes.
I have recently started supplementary feeding along with molasses to feed the soil microbes and a little "Epsom Salt tea" to avoid any cal/mag deficiencies arising.
Prior to feeding, I flush the pot to make sure any old nutes are removed - then I feed with nutes, with a little molasses and worm piss at pH 6.5 - the molasses and worm piss is to add more microbes and feed those already there.
The leaves are green and healthy and I wish they would hurry up and fill the screen so I can switch to 12/12.

I wonder why it didn't turn your plant male ... hopefully I will have better luck - once my clones are rooted I will make a batch and see what happens.

For this grow I will stick to that feed method - it's a variation of the "make it rain" system without shutting down the nute uptake following the flush.
As I don't leave the roots soaking in pH 5.6 water the plant can still get constant food - it's a hybrid of normal nute feeding, organic "living" soil and making it rain ... hopefully I won't kill it :-)

On another note, I'm going to be busy for the next year or two - along with my second LED light, I just ordered 10 more seeds - 10 different Sativa/Indica (sativa dominant) strains - I do like Sativas.
As I will be producing feminised seeds from as many strains as possible I will definitely be busy - and will be maximising the use of my space and lights.

G.O.D. im suprised your growing in soil ive recently became a fan of the concept of DWC the only consumable other than power is nutrient and when i make my aeroponics cloner ive been told it has 100% strike rate and i believe i can make both systems for under $200
