you have enuf light for one medium sized plant but not for two
So whats the minimum/good amount of wattage used for 2?

Ah fuck, I had typed out a whole response and hit back by accident.. grr.. time to retype..
So getbl4zed, might I suggest a few things
First off.. try readin the sticky at the top of this section about a tutorial to growing with CFL's.. its got some great info in there..
Now to your more specific question... If you take a look at my grow and Dr.Chronics grow you will notice we are both growing just 2 plants and with different amounts of lights and watts.. However we're both having great results !! I'd also advise you maybe do a quick READ through of the newest Sticky in this section (up top) Its a tutorial written by Dr.Chronic.. worth its weight in bud....Anyway, so my suggestion if to check those grows out.. It can be hard to cut through all the bullshit and useless responses on here... Like if your going to tell this dude no no no no give him a damn reason or atleast your opinion on the matter instead of adding uselessness...
I'll finish off with saying that for myself.. I've been using about 2 - 3 26W CFL's to start off and most of veg.. as Flowering has come I've added a few more bulbs..

the standard for tubes or cfl is 75 watts per square ft of growing space.

If I have a grow box that's 2 x 2 x 2... Will I want 8cf x 75w? Or just the 2sf x 75w?

Yeah.. thats the thing.. I think I will have a prob with those. My idea for countering is to have the lights ON during the night hours. My house cools at least 10 degrees all around inside -- if not more -- at night.
Daytime will be sleepy time for my plants.
If I have any other heat probs my next plan was to keep about 10 frozen water bottles in rotation (20 in all) and just surround my box with a frozen water bottle forrest everyday...
Of course I have a 4" 80CFM exhaust... and an oscillating fan...
Think all of that could work out?

sure - although i think most people who use frozen bottles put them inside the grow area with a fan blowing the cold air around
