why dont threads like these ever have happy endings? how are we supposed to get hope from threads that dont have an ending????

I need to know how to reveg. I have one strain in particular that I feel I could grow a little better if I re-grew it but I failed to take a clone earlier... somebody??? anybody???

This is my plant:

Bonide Tomato Set Spray will help regeneration, even if you have no foliage it gives you a fighting chance. The kinetin in it can cause the formation of new growth tips directly from the stalk. Use that in conjunction with super-thrive and a a high Nitrogen fert in the soil (after a GOOD flush) and you have a chance...

bonide tomato set spray ey.... sounds good to me.
ya, the plant that had no foliage at all, did not make it. i didnt even give it a change. if northenlights would of posted 4 months ago, it might of survived with the help of bonide spray.
but, northenlight, say i did have a plant i wanted to regenerate; how would i use the spray you are talking about???? do i spray it on the remaining leaves????

My first plant... I just left some leaves and buds at the bottom and it came back fine...
...as to whether it will bloom again, I have yet to find out. But regenerating seems almost mindless... then again I didn't prune my plant so it had a lot of shit that wasn't worth harvesting.

im in a similar position but where i live it grows year round,so im going to trim all the flowers off when they have maxed out and let it go for another season,i saw a friend do this indoors keeping the fan leaves and it regenerated and flowered(light hours etc... and nutrients in door or out).i just dont have the heart to rip out a pure afgan strain brought all the way from a middle east mountain range

Spittn4cash, your plant should make it. I had absolutely no fan leaves on mine and it regenerated.

I was able to regen my NLxS that I chopped about 26 days ago. It was about 18 inches tall. When I harvested, I did not just cut off the buds. I cut the stems of each branch about 1" past the lowest bud. However, I did leave 2 partial buds near the top node. By partial, I mean they were buds, but I clipped the top half and left about maybe 1/2" of bud left. Probably equivalent to about 1 gram wet. I watered it the one time and have kept lifting the pot to check it. I thought it was a goner because for weeks, the pot was still heavy like it wasn't using any water.

I sprouted some ak48 and LR seeds and put them in cups that I placed on top of the soil around my regen NLxS. After about 3 weeks, I started getting some really ugly looking non-cannabis leaves that shot out of the leftover bud sites. Its been almost a week now and they're continuing to come out and starting to look more like cannabis leaves. I can't believe this is working. Its fairly as close as you can get to just chopping the whole plant down to its stem.

i had a PLANT THAT I CHOPED at the stem and the roots kept growing because i left the pot outside all year and when i came to get it the roots had grown into the ground but there were termites in the soil I dont know if that kept the plant from growing but the some of the roots never died.

to the man from Ohio lol.well that was posted a while back,my main crop was in good old Ohio and spent the entire september harvesting, man i love Ohio, fuckin cool people great head shops.my girl is the growing machine really,im the mushroom man.i live in good old florida(it so sucks here)grew a few citral hashplants this year here and its almost too hot and too much to maintain,i mean i was gone for 3 days plants over 6 foot, when i got back the entire plants were dried buds and all.back to Ohio,we have over 21 strains now but i added several more that were grown and crossed with afgani, buds the size of my forarm ! i trimmed for weeks !,i decided due to the laws in florida it just isnt worth it here the laws are insane,so we are gonna keep it all up in good old Columbus and ship myself my own shit lol,the key for the outdoor grower in ohio is with these seeds from banks only kick ass after your second season with that gene in this country,it has to adapt but jesus in O H I O they grow like trees ! peace hommie, ill be back in the buckeye state for new years buddy ! yeeeeeeeeeeee haw !

ok here we go...pics of my regen that I just took now. So like I said earlier, its been around 1 month since I chopped all the buds.

It took more than a week for all the amputated branches to seal up. Outside of that, it about 3 weeks before I noticed any new growth. Then by week 4, the pot was light so I watered some.

The small plants on the right are my experiments using the hempy bucket method. I could only find MG perlite locally and I think thats what is stunting their growth...over ferts. The cup is straight MG perlite and the soda bottle is MG perlite and vermiculite 50/50.

YES!!!!!! You definitely can...i did and am doing it again...guaranteed female producer. I took plants from my 1st harvest eveer...s.aw that they had stems and leaves toward the bottom w/o useful bud and said....wth... and about 4 months later i reharvested the plant and some new ones....i picked the best three to do it again and am getting them to veg now. I am now getting new growt while the rest of the flower is being reabsorbed.

I vegged 24/7 then, after flowering i re-potted the plants into fresh fertilized soil....they will lose a lot of roots but heck after harvesting they take it ok. I topped it due to the stem being out of balance a bit but didn't have to and won't now. They bushed out well and made near as much as the initial harvest.

i'll have pics.

Again...i re-pot and go back to 24/7 light.

my current single plant is flowering 6 days now and i need to germ some new ones before this one is harvested.
