slowing down because of regulations?

lol

what, you mean they are trying to stop child slavery?

goddamn mammon idolaters.
They have been trying to stop child slavery since 1979 through "regulations" and can't seem to do so.
Try to refrain from making assumptions and uneducated statements..

I thought you read the article?
"Three recent episodes illustrate the muddle at the top. First, the government announced that it was at last opening its inefficient retail industry to foreign firms—only to change its mind within days. This month, to protect industry at home, it banned the export of cotton, upsetting India’s farmers and trading partners; within days, it backtracked. And last week the government moved to overrule the Supreme Court and change the tax code to tax foreign takeovers retroactively, not least Vodafone’s purchase of its Indian arm. Some worry that the rule of law, one of India’s great strengths, is being eroded."
Regulations are the least bit of worries for India. With the way their culture prefers boys over girls, and makes it even more expensive to have a girl...they're running out females. No family wants to have a girl, but they expect other families to pick up the slack, except they don't either.

Yea, I'm sure they have plenty of other problems. But regarding the way the economy is going right now, they have regulations to blame.

At the rate they are borrowing, and probably will continue to borrow, they need to maintain 6.5% growth
wouldn't really know about that, just judging by what are generally considered "safe" rates of economic growth. explosive growth can be just as bad as anemic growth, and i know america during the gilded age grew at about that same rate, which was partially to blame for the ensuing depression (they called it a panic back then, how cute).

it's cute to hear the republicans claim they will ratchet up our growth rate to gilded age like rates, i just LOL.

"According to tax publisher CCH, there are now 72,536 pages of federal tax code rules, regulations, and IRS rulings."

That'd take about 30 work weeks to read, if that were your occupation. Is that fair? I forgot, government can do no wrong according to liberals.
