I the meantime....i think it is safe to say that as long as youre not "farming" in your basement you can grow some plants for your meds and not fear going to jail for it.... and thats all i need know....
said it from the get go...as long as you are sick and can prove that.. there's no issue.

ps.... you'll still see court for the next little while.. ;-)

and you wont see you equipment again.

Well... this was a year ago already

Now i think they would even be reluctant to bother dragging you into court unless youve got the farm going....

I guess you skipped over the part where my criticism of the Liberals was comparing them to the Conservatives.

That's the problem with you youngin's. You have grown up under Harper and think he is the problem. THEY ARE ALL THE PROBLEM. Those LP's you shill for are in the pockets on the Liberal party. I vote Green, not Conservative-lite.Trudeau is just another Harper, just like Obama is another Bush. One day you'll be old enough to understand that.
"Youngin"...lol!

I was born in the early '60's dude, and am well aware of political reps on both sides of the aisle.

Thanks for the compliment on my age tho...:peace:

I think you're a little bit politically confused on another thing as well, Harper goes with Bush and Obama goes with Trudeau. ;)

Youngin's I was born in Ottawa in 1960 and stayed there till 1978 then came to Alberta. I will give JT a chance until he screws up if he does. We needed change he is for change so give the man his chance. As long as it goes legal that's all I need. Grow and worry about the courts if it ever happens I don't think to many cops will be worried about it if it is legal and for sure the judges will get tired of it real fast. Like booze and tobacco you can make your own just do not sell it they want their tax.

If anyone can prove how the government has impacted lives in a positive manner I'd look at retracting my statement but as it sits I doubt there is.

The Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which JT's father gave Canadians. The very thing that was used to allow for the MMAR in the first place and the very injunction that currently awaits the judges decision. Or do people forget so quickly?

You forgot the dispensaries and cc's trying to make their bucks off the sick for a profit as well. Hiding in the grey and acting like they are your friend.

I grew up under PET, and I do remember the good times under his Gov. But, I also remember the Liberal sponsorship scandal quite vividly, so I do get why some people are "concerned" about JT's policies. The extreme liberal haters here, well, they're a whole different bunch on their own… LOL!

I would be lying if I didn't say I have some reservations in my gut as well (and I've voted Liberal my entire life). But, as I've watched the political landscape change over the last decade, I'm hoping that my reservations are proven wrong. I want to believe JT is a new breed of politician. Perhaps once again we'll have a PM who truly leads for the benefit of all Canadians, like PET did. Politicians come and go, and the man deserves at least a chance…IMO!

that is what I said to someone the other day... if you are not selling and doing it for meds..
I cant see them bother but each person is treated differently :)

No I don't see it that way...I see cc and dispensaries as giving me an option my government has chosen not to....I have always said that I would pay twice as much to have the choice than less to to be forced...but yes they are making a profit for the risk they assume...go ahead...

Forced to buy is forced to buy. Only options imo is grow your own or buy. To me big business or mom and pop stores are the exact same thing, the only difference is who is the making profit.
Sorry, I wasn't clear, I'm for EVERYONE to be able to grow for themselves. I also believe that DG's, cc's, and in SOME cases LP's can all fit in. Like I said, the more options for patients the better.

imo reinstate MMAR temporarily while they sort out the details on a whole new program, maybe with a grandfather clause for existing MMAR patients but no new MMAR licenses until the new system is in place (which better include some form of home-grow option). A compromise for some but workable and reasonable as an interim option. All those in limbo get some relief while a new program is implemented and new patients can order through existing channels (cc's, dispensaries, LP's).

that wont happen because what is legal for one is legal for all. The judge can only rule what is legal, hc makes the rules. But if he finds in favour for us it applies to everyone. Then hc will have to make new rules but until then its a free for all. Not to mention the judges decision will be open to enterperation (i know its spelt worng). Hc will read ruling and interpret as what we will see as worst case scenario and we will read into as best case scenario, hopefully rule changes will be somewhere in the middle

Agreed, it's gonna be tricky as any Phelan decision applies to all.

Are there routes to demand a decision faster? Is there a time span a judge has to release such a decision? These people stuck in mmpr are being ringed out by politics and financial games
I have an attorney on retainer, and he advised me that Conroy can "inquire" as to when a decision is coming around the 6 month mark. Final docs were recieved by Phelan on July 28th....so that puts the "inquiry" period around Jan 2016. IMO...Phelan will render his decision very soon after Nov 4th.

No your criticism of Liberals goes far beyond comparing them to Harper. As I said before, your blind hatred for JT is clouding rational thinking, if you are even capable of that. You have no idea what JT will do, other than a video where he advocates home grows. You voted Green and May is for legalization, is she just another Harper-lite like JT? Oh wait, Harper didn't want any weed at all....! Your argument makes no sense. "you youngin's"? what in the fuck is that? How old do you think we all are, son?
