Relief from Crohn's Disease

I have something called Crohn's Disease. I have discovered that marijuana helps me a great deal. I don't live in a state where it is legal to obtain medical weed. I have been on so many opiates and other powerful meds it is ridiculous. I have recently stopped taking all of the "legal" drugs because I have had so many problems with opiate dependence. It took a month in detox to get off of all the fentenyl, dilaudid, morphine, oxycontin, demerol ect. I get more relief from marijuana as well as it's other anti-inflammatory properties, not to mention the fact that I love the creative, free feeling that I receive from a nice bud. I am currently growing my first crop from some seeds I got from some pretty quality herb. I followed what I have learned from this site and have had incredible success. I didn't want to deal with some of the people that I would have to if I was to buy from an unknown source. I wish more research was performed on marijuana. It has much to offer us!!!

Move to Michigan it's on the list. If the legalization happens in California I think more states will try out the medical side of it so hold on grow strong strains and good luck!!!

Sorry to hear you have this nasty disease also. I have lost over half of my intestines because of it and can no longer work. I am always looking for any kind of relief and am glad that I researched marijuana. It really helps in many ways. Peace

Hey Rusty.
I am glad to hear that you found relief in MMJ. It is amazing huh. I also have a bowl disorder, Chronic IBS. Irritable bowl syndrome can be similar to Crohn's Disease. The major difference is when I get tested for all those bowl diseases they come back negative. No one knows why I am in so much pain and constant diarrhea but they don't hesitate to give me all sorts of their crazy drugs. None of them worked. I felt worse on a lot of them. I am sure you know were I am coming from. MMJ works the best! I live in Cali so I am able to get specific strains that help with pain and my stomach problem.
Anyway, I am glad you found MMJ. It is nice to connect with people that struggle with similar illnesses. Good luck with your Crohn's Disease. keep in touch.

Good luck on you first grow also!

Thanks, I was not diagnosed until it turned into an emergency situation. I have heard that IBS has similar simptoms to Crohn's. If you get relief that is all that really matters to me. It is good to hear that others have found some relief from marijuana. I get a lot of satisfaction out of growing also. It gives me a reason to continue trying. What a shame that it is illeagal in most states. Having to hide and feel like a criminal sucks. I am not a criminal, just someone who ran out of options and took it upon myself and used common sense to find anything that would help me feel like living. I will post pics of my buds soon hopefully! Thanks again. Rusty
