Do you people ever stop to think that without religion we wouldn't have wars
All these stupid fuckers think there god is the right god and kill to prove it
I mean think about it, if money is the root of all evil why are churches always asking for it
Not to mention the only time people ask there god for help or forgiveness is when they're in some deep shit
Or maybe this is hell and how we get out of it is up to us

I tell you what my church donates over $400,000 a year back to help the needy in our community. Now tell me what do you do to help anyone?

thats some ownage. but even if we didn't have religion, men would still find reasons to war. i'd say economic reasons are more causes for war than anything.

are you serious? you're going to use that as an argument? so b/c your church gets obscene amounts of money, and donates a fraction of that to the community, someone else has to justify themselves? come on now...

Also I'm going to have to disagree that people only ask for God when they need help or forgiveness Or in deep shit. I find myself thanking God on the regular for amazing luck. I commute on a sportbike..its EPIC.

Hey Crackerboy that must be a pretty big church to donate just about $7,692.00 a week to help people. See there's good "Free Money" in religion! You must live in the high rent district. Either way, all around the world hundreds die everyday because someone convinced them that there god is the only god and all others should die for not feeling the same way. Or in hitlers case being a jew. People like hitler, bien laden, james jones, ect... prove that if your a strong speaker you get anyone to believe anything. Not to mention all those catholic preist who have a thing for little boys! In fact I believe i'll have another. Hell my father is a pastor and he has every right to think and believe what he wants! But to think that " he who doesn't follow in the way of the lord shall not have eternal" REALLY? And the same for Buddha, Mohamed, ect...
But the way i see it too many Innocent people get killed because some asshole convinced them that there god is the only god. And by the way just because you shell out money doesn't wash your hands of all the other shit you do! Hell even kenny chesney throws an extra $20 in the plate LOL as the song goes!
Here's a thought make up your own religion and preach how smoking weed will save the world cause everyone will be mellow and enjoy life with a good head high and you too will have your own religion. Just don't make them drink the juice!LOL

That's true men will find reasons to kill. Hell we're all growing our own killer bud now and the mexican drug cartels are getting pissed. Thats one of the reasons not to go to mexico, you'll get kidnapped and or killed cause there sales are down.

they don't kidnapp you b/c of sales. sales aren't down for them buddy, i basically live in mexico and actually have friends who's parents have been killed by los zetas. and FYI, it's not the cartel doing all that, the mexican government has asked the cartel to help the get rid of the organization called los zetas... los zetas are a group that do extreme things to prove a point, to instill fear into the mexican public. the mexican cartel grow acres of schwag, nasty weed that is super cheap. i live on the border and we get lbs for like 150 and shit. sales are booming

My point was that just because there is a few extremest does not mean that all religion is bad. I do agree that great harm has been done in the name of religion. But that is not what Jesus was teaching. My current church as well as other churches that I have attended puts great amounts of energy, time, and money into helping their communities. One point that Jesus continually hammered home was to help the poor, crippled, and widowed. Men are the ones committing great atrocities not god.
