Removing Organic Runoff?

Do you remove your runoff when growing organically?

I was wondering something for a long time. I know when using chemical fertilizers there are lots of salts involved. I know most of that salt builds up in the catch trays but I was wondering when growing organically do I still need to remove that runoff water from the bottom?

Try to get your watering down so that you don't have a huge amount of run off.

All this talk I read online about needing 20% run off etc is bull shit.

As soon as i see water coming out the bottom i stop giving it. Make sure you get that shit out of the trays just asking for problems.

Now why in all of creation are you watering organic to run-off?
You do not water organics to run-off!!!!
YOU DON'T NEED TO!!!!!!!! NO SALTS to build up!
Now just don't overfeed them.

My rose bushes like my run off, 20% when I water and 40% when I feed
These ain't fuck'in rose's! Bet you use synthetic nutrients on them too!

20% runoff sounds like another way to say "overwater" I get about two drips from the bottom after I water. Dry and clean your catches regularly to avoid stagnant water which creates bacteria.

Bingo +rep!

Soil that stays wet too long also stays "out" of optimal pH shift too long! Promotes other problems as a result.

I water once a day, enough to get me to the next.....I get more oxygen to my roots that way and that's a good thing!
