hi i need help, i have some 6' plants that are on their 20 th day of flowering and they are dying form the bottom up all of the lower branches on the bottom 12" are turning brown and dropping all of their leaves i have been using advanced nutes bloom part a and b and some big bud powder which is working good this problem is only affected 1/2 of my girls and i dont think its an air circulation problem or lack of light im stumped and have no clue thanks for any help and +++rep 4 ya info

I would have to guess the plant is using up all of the nutes from the lower leaves to finish the fruit. Normal during flowering. Hope this helps.:peace:

i dont think so ive been feeding them with a mix like 1200 ppm and they have not shown any sign of nute burn on the canopy it may be a root problem but its not from over watering because i let em dry out good before i water again

have you tried flushing your soil? your roots could be getting burned from over exposure to the nitrogen maybe. i bet if you flushed it gave it a week and you would see improvement

i know this post is close to a week old just wondering what ya did to correct the problem with your plant and have ya seen any results?

i went and got a ph tester and figured out that my tap water is 8.5 or above so ive corrected that problem and it is where it needs to be now on three of the plants i cut all the dead lower branches off and they are still droping leaves that are a real dark brown and im not shure what to do next

i have changed the ph and have that under control and got more air blowin under them and the problem is not advancing up the plant like it was but the effected branches dont look any better
