Since they are Chinese and English is probably not their first language, communication can be troubling, but as long as you clarify everything it seems to work out well. It took me about 2 weeks to arrive and unfortunately I didn't use Paypal but a wire transfer. Good to know they do take Paypal on smaller orders.

i rcieved a phone call from DHL the day before about how to proceed if I didn't want to sign which was as simple as leaving a signature on doorstep but yes they do require signature

After my order was finalized and put to production it arrived in a week. It was faster then I had expected. If you make a order have all your specs sorted out and finalized it'll make the order process faster. If you go back and forth through emails it's gona add a week or more to the whole process.

Weird...my sales rep didnt let me get more than 10 blues-5 white and 6 far reds....the rest were regular reds and deep reds. My unit is 150 w phantom tho. How did she calculate it i dont know...
It's difficult when emailing back and forth with the language getting lost in translation. They are very helpful but it's a chore trying to convey exactly what you want.

There are 3 different phantom models

Basic
Dimmable
Multifunction

How many Led's does the 150W come with ?

How many led's can you have on one series ?

The Phantom you ordered..is it dimmable and does it come with a timer like the one they show on their website ?

What colors did they say you could get ?

I'm emailing them now and would love to exchange info so please PM me with any info.

Thanks

Try aqualights if you wanna get more white lights or blue lights. They have two power cables so you can get as much as you like....i learned this after i ordered and paid. I really dont wanna get throught the hussle of them refunding me and ordering again. Because if you order with paypal , they want you to write your ratio while paying on paypal. So if i wanted to change my order i am guessing they will refund me first. They dont trust paypal/buyer proctection i guess.
- Language is a big problem when dealing with them...My sales rep got my order wrong 3 times.(even tho she understood what i wanted) I am really bothered to go all trought that again. I dont even know wich one i bought...she has attention problem i guess or maybe was dealing with too many people at once. I was writing multifunction but i paid for dimmable...it says dimmable on my bill.Dont really care the difference beteween dimmable and multi because only difference multi has is the over heating protection and electric saving(fans stop when the heat is okay)
-78 leds on grow light version/no lens.
-Dimmable has timer yep and specturm controls.
-You can get any color...but far red, white and blue uses extra power...
i go this ;
430 BLUE 5
460 BLUE 6
630 RED 27
660 DEEP RED 30
730 FAR RED 6
Warm White3000k 4

You can go with Cidly , they seem to deliver good product. Everybody seems satisfied. Mine is in production i am guessing. I am satisfied also but i kinda had a bad taste because of what i had to go through. That shouldnt represent the brand tho, find a better sales rep if you are not happy with the one you find. ASK everything...dont trust their language skills also.

Thanks for the reply Vaultec

How did they set up the series where you said you can control the spectrums and how many series are there for 150W?

What leds(colors) can you control on and off?

Just wondering if they just mixed them all crazy or what .It's confusing because it's not set up like
the apollo where each is set up in a circle.

No information on how many LED's can be on a driver or how many drivers. It's like pulling teeth to get the answers
plus the time zone makes it even more difficult.

Your post was very helpful..Thanks

PS: Can you tell me what you paid..if u don't want to post it just PM me..Thanks again !

Here's what I was told lastnight which is a total of 56 led's for Phantom Aquarium. The Phantom Grow has 78Led's.

"Phantom 150 aquarium light,

1)1 power cord only
2)Dimmer, Timer built in
3)4 Channels, two for Blue, Two for White
4)Each driver/channel has 13 leds, the more red use, the lower power will be.

No red led, the power will be 150Watt
Total 13 leds, Red led must less than 11pcs."

lol my rep was named andrew and on his first email sent he had a posed picture of himself with a suit on and a laptop in his hands. i think he takes care of the big account as i was inquiring about pricing for wholesale orders of 10 pcs each. i was laughing my ass off when i got his first email, that pic was too much.

If I were you I would go with all white LED's and you can ask about an Apollo because it is probably cheaper for more wattage and you have the added benefit of having 2 cords with less total energy going to each cord so its set up as a 2 way system. Unless of course you want the dimmable function then go for the phantom.

Has anyone done an actual watt reading on one of these?

Ive been planning on making my own CW/WW led panel for a while now.
Might just grab up one of these to test for now.

I havent as I dont have a watt reader but from what ive seen people have done it on the blue and red LED versions, which will have a different wattage then whites, but if you google that Im sure you can find it.

I have a DIY project which is mainly whites with some RB's and DR's and looking to duplicate it with a custom Cidly Phantom because I want the timer and dimmable for each channel which ables me create different times of the day with veg/flower options as well.

I'm also going to get 3- 50W or 2 -100W panels....I feel it's better to have smaller panels as oppose to one large one. Plus if one fails at least I still have others working while the other one is being repaired.

And if they turn out to be crap with constant failures over time I can always use the case for my own DIY :)
