Repugnicans in Disarray!

There are still 70 million Americans who will still vote for them no matter what they do or how much they fight with each other, facts don't matter, and character does not count, except for lack of it. Trump is the GOP front runner so far and I dunno if being indicted again will change that, I hope it doesn't and they ride this dragon into the ground. Dividing the republicans is your best option and Donald winning the nomination will unite them behind him yet again. However, they will have a problem this time around because I'm pretty sure Jack will have Trump in jail or prison by election day, if not well before. Ideally, he would be convicted after he wins the GOP nomination and is imprisoned over the secret docs and obstruction cases, both are simple slam dunk cases that won't take long to try. The other option is he loses the nomination because he is jailed or imprisoned before the primary and then runs a Bull Moose from his cell with MTG as his VP stumping for him. In any case, the best chance the democrats have is to divide the republicans and use Trump to do it, you can't convince them, facts don't matter, so split their vote if possible.

The base runs the republican party now, not the leaders or the traditional institutions and they lead the leadership around by the nose now and they must pander to the most radical elements. I figure there are about 70 million of them and J6 never affected their numbers that much, it did a bit, but not that much. They filled the party with racists, con artists, nut jobs and psychos, there is no excuse for a patriot to vote for any republican, no reason either, they have no policies or platforms. Donald Trump is still wildly popular inside the GOP and leads the polling for nominee by a significant margin. Remember, if he is convicted and even imprisoned, it won't matter to most of them, facts don't matter remember and him in the big house is just another fact that can be ignored. If he is in prison and not on the ballot in 24 in some states, millions will write him in.

I think the best case would be for Trump to go to prison before the nomination, then perhaps someone else might beat him and he will run a Bull Moose, if he has the money by then. If he is convicted of wire fraud, then he won't be collecting money online to run and not many billionaires will back him. Having Donald as a Bull Moose, even from his cell will cost the republicans millions of votes as they opt for Trump, instead of the GOP nominee, even if in some states they have to write him in. People will be running ads telling republicans that they can write in Trump's name on the ballot, if it is not there.

Divide and conquer them.
