Reputable and Reasonably priced clones in the Toronto area?

Home grower from the gta and i have been growing for about 5-6 years now and the hydro store near me when i first started sold canuk seeds 30 dollars for a 5 pack as a new grower i had no idea about breeders or genetics so i bought 5 packs and between those and some growers choice seeds i won on instagram i am down to my last few seeds. in that time i have had 3 kids and done a large home reno so my budget for the grow has shrunk substantially but my knowledge on breeders and genetics has grown alot. The first year or 2 as i was new i assumed the end product wasnt the best because i was new but year after year and seed after seed the end product wasnt much different some got me high but had no terps to it some had minimal terps but nothing else plants all grew healthy and looked great but nothing worth keeping. Now with my knowledge of good and reputable breeders i know where the good genetics are i just dont have the money to pay 150+ for a pack of seeds on top of shipping costs 50-100$ whatever it may be so im thinking of just getting a clone from someone local so i can at the very least have something in my garden that i enjoy smoking on the only 1 i have found with a google search local to me nine leaf clover if anyone knows of any others local that allow pickup in person or have had any experience with the mentioned one please this open to all to comments and suggestions just want some good herb thnk u all

I would suggest avoiding clones. You're risking bringing bugs, viruses, molds and mildews into your grow space. Seeds are going to be more safe than clones and you will be able to pheno hunt seeds and not be stuck with 1 plant someone else liked.

I'm sorry, I just don't understand your problem.
You're in Canada, you can buy your desired genetics locally. Easy to Google -Toronto cannabis seeds/clones
$100 shipping? Where you buying from?

Anyway....good luck

Good see

I have been popping seeds for 5 years with no luck i dont have a large budget to go and buy a 150+ dollar pack of 5 seeds and just hope one is a keeper and keep pheno hunting them if its not thats y im looking for any1 who has had a good experience with buying clones if you know of where i can get good genetics for under 100 dollars with shipping id consider but anything i can find for under 100 thats decent is only online and ends being more cuz of shipping i have seen lots in person but like i said all 150+ for a pack your definetly right about the bugs and viruses that definitely concerns me im going to quarantine a clone if a get 1 and spray it

Im not saying i cant im asking if any1 has in my area and what their experiences are i also have a very small budget so it has to be local enough that i can go there or if its online cheap enough that its not to much with shipping i dont know of many good genetics selling for less than 150 for a 5 pack which isnt a crazy amount but my little money seems better spent on buying a reputable clone that most likely will be some decent smoke and i can go from there

I second the previous note that using seed seems like it’ll accomplish the smoke goal. I’m also CDN (Toronto proper) and while good seed banks like NASC won’t ship up here, we have options. True North reps a bunch of breeders (a lot out of stock, but worth a skim). I’m holding a few of their beans for the summer run. There is also Blimburn (Spanish white label) and they ship to the great white North. Not stellar genetics, but wide selection.
I’d decide what strain you want/like to smoke, and work back from that. Best of luck on the search

True north is ok but like i said any actual good breeders on there your looking at 150+ for a 5 pack and blimburn is a little cheaper but its not guaranteed that im getting sometging smokeable and puts me right back where i am and i could spend another 5 years hunting for just sometging half decent to smoke i dont mind hunting its fun actually but when you have nothing good to smoke after 5 years of it i think a new approach might be needed a clone has already been hunted and you knows its going to be good smoke aslong as you know its a reputable cut from a reputable source i dont see how popping seeds can compete unless your spending the 150+ for a very good breeder and even than its not a guarantee

A white label or F1 is still gonna result in good smoke. Genetics absolutely matter, but any decent bean if grown with care will net you good bud. Sure, I’d love the DNA Genetics Lemon Skunk, but even they are sold out. But I can certainly find Lemon Skunk if I want to run it. Hell, OCS carries okay seed. Canvas Cannabis here in Toronto even has Humboldt Magic Melon seeds for purchase. Wouldn’t hang up too much on clones. Grow what you want to smoke I guess is what I’m saying. This is a Blimburn freebie that I’m willing to bet after her dry and cure, is gonna be pretty decent smoke :weed:

I’m near the GTA myself and would suggest going seeds as well. I got a clone for in my first ever tent grow and was infested. Seedsman has some good deals going on, and usually give you 3 Blueberry and 3 White Widow seeds with your order. Their WW is pretty awesome and blueberry was good too. Plus SensibleSeeds.com offers bulk 25 seeds for under $100cnd if you are pheno hunting, plus tons of freebies.

Thanks alot ill check out that website see what seedsman has got going on bulk seema cool but that sounds like another 5 uears of searching for something i like once i have a strain or two i enjoy maybe ill go back to popping whatever i can get my hands on

I can tell you just for shits n giggles I too searched "clones for sale Canada" and a handful popped up. So I do what I do everytime before Id buy something, I reached out to prolly 4-5 places via e-mail to see if/when they get back to me. Only CloneMeister ever returned an email. He told me they are located in Ontario. On their site you can fill the cart with clones and it will total in the shipping costs according to your address.
I put 4 clones into the cart and it was roughly $279.00 CDN w/ overnight shipping. Not cheap. Dunno about 1 clone, but shipping will kill ya.
Its an option. They do show decent genetics. I know the Ethos Crescendo genetic they have won our local outdoor flower competition this year.
Personally Id sit and decide what traits I like and want to grow. Are you looking for an uplifting Sativa, or a heavy Indica? Flavor, yield, effect. In which order is most important to you. How large of a space you have can dictate also.
If buying Canadian genetics, Id take a look at the guys that been doing it for a long time. Guys like Jordan of the Islands. West Coast companies. Older companies tend to be reputable cuz if your genetics are junk, people will post accordingly. I normally buy reputable Cali genetics, only cuz they can run numbers and dial in on desirable traits if done properly.
If you are looking for budget Canadian stuff I can recommend 52nd street's Bubba X DeathBubba (reversed) feminized 5 packs for like $50 at some OCS stores. not really recommended for outdoor which is my method. I found Indica dominant phenotypes with a tight earthy flower. My sample tested in at 25.75% thc. Of everything I grew, it was the bag I kept going back to.
Check Strainly too. Ive seen Canadian clones on sale there before.
Good luck.

Maybe take a trip to the reserves out by Brantford or by Belleville. They're rammed with dispensaries and some sell clones. My buddy gave me a couple, not sure from which disp but they were Capt cake and la runtz. Unfortunately didn't get to see the final product cuz I got mites and culled everything but they looked and smelled pretty good before their demise lol

9 leaf clover seems the most reasonable, but smaller selection. After scouring thru thee web, I believe they have the cheapest clones online.
Canada needs to get their shit together. We should be able to buy reputable accurate cultivar clones at a local nursery like in Cali. All we are offered are feminized seed. Which is great, but a 4 count plant count means you aint pheno hunting shit. You just gotta pray there is some gold in them there seeds cuz we only allowed 4 plants. Ridiculous. I dunno what they are scared of.

.

As I understand it, the powers that be don't want homegrown weed going to the black market. So they limit us to 4 plants.

I looked for weeks for a loophole that would allow me to sell some of my weed in some manner, every possibility is locked up tight.
