Request. Can you make a faq thread about cobs and qbs?

Hello growers.
There is a lot of information here and I want to thank you all for this. I think that it would be nice to have a thread to introduce ppl to cob and quantum b tech.
What are cobs? Why should I choose them? Are they so much different to single led panels?
I can't write anything cause I couldn't even explain why ppf value is so important.

Well I actually already built my lights. Btw there are a lot of ppl interested and they could find useful something like that. Maybe someone could find hard to understand spoken English and they are more comfortable with a simple text

Yes there's DIY threads for each technology here on the forum. At least two threads for the QB's and I can't remember how many for the COB's including the stickies. Another FAQ thread quite frankly is overkill

Also all of the live shows on YT discussing all of this on various channels including but not limited to the growers round table, subcool's show weed nerd, and @Growmau5 live streams plus all of the videos out there.

Yes ok I found a lot of info on the Citizen thread but there are a lot of thread with a huge quantity of pages, it's just too much information and specs for a newbie.
One doesn't choose to go from hid to cob reading the cree thread. Choosing a specific brand or model is a step forward. Firstly someone asks himself what a cob is and why he should go for a cob setup instead of a cheaper hps fixture.

I mean ok I know you all guys know what you are doing and I love all the useful specs you provide but as a newbie I can guarantee you it's hard to find an answer through all this information.

ya, there definitely isnt a yellow brick road. but, then again, there rarely is one for anything. the good news is, this place is filled with info, like a library, you just gotta find it. keep searching, and read read read. you'll get it. if stumped, ask questions
