I'm honestly shocked because this stuff is DRY!! I dried it a little more than I would have liked and it still weighed more than everyone voted haha, have to love it!!! I didn't over dry it but in 4 days of 80 degree well ventilated "no fan" darkness it dried to the point where the stem snapped clean in half!!
I really appreciate all the cool ass people joining along and tuning in! It has been one hell of a time and don't forget to check out my new grow those who haventTake it easy everyone and rest assured I will take car of mass for winning with unlimited rep for a while and anything else I can help him with haha!!! Just an incredible yield on that KK. Over 5 ounces . . . my qp guess was over an ounce low, lol.
Now I have to start following the WW, Wonder, and return of Kush thread.
I admire how you keep posting until the growing and drying is done. A lot of people don't follow through with their "grow logs". And nothing is more frustratrating than reading through 50 pages and suddenly, the "grow master" abandons the thread he/she started, lol.
Enjoy the smoke, you deserve it.

My drying room is very low humidity - 65deg F, 25% RH
After 72 - 96 hours of hanging a fresh cut plant I am putting them into paperbags (single layer of buds, fold paperbag top). I use this as an intermediary step between the hang-dry and jars. It seems to act as a slow dry/cure, before I put them into jars.
I open the bags 2 or 3 times a day for 30+ minutes, fan them, and shuffle the buds. I keep them in the bags for 24 - 72 hours before they go into jars. Then I try to open the jars 2- 3 times a day and fan them for a few days, then open them less, and less, often (unless I am smoking them already).

I wan't to thank everyone again for following along and posting!!! I'll definitely do my best to to give a good smoke report in the next week or so but I can tell you that right now in the jars it smells very funky! Nothing Kandy about the smell well yet anyway but we will see in a week or 2 I hit it out of a bong and it has almost a minty taste but its still hard to tell.. More to come soon!!!

Sounds like a good method, I just hang them till there crisp or "the stem breaks" like this time and throw them in jars basically lol... It actually took almost 5 days to dry so it wasn't to bad..

Smelly, congrats bro, you are a grow master! Checking in from the southern hemisphere and glad to see I was off by about 50g!! You deserve it man! And I'm sure the cure will transform that funky smell... same thing happened with my sour diesel after drying a bit too fast, but 4 weeks of cure changed a nasty smell into a true diesel (also nasty but in a good way). Look forward to that smoke report whenever that comes!

Yea the smell isn't too bad but it does still have the "Green" smell to it until you break open the bud lol... "Unless you stick your nose in a whole jar lol.."
That funky smell your describing almost sounds identical to this, smells horrible in a good way haha! I have no doubt that it will smell ridiculious after a few weeks of curing but that does make me feel better, thanks homer

To do the different size pics. Instead of hitting Go advance, you can do it from quick reply. Click on the little tree next to the globe with the paper clip. Its on the same tool bar above Where I change the font like thiss...
Pm me if you have anymore question but you do that and upload them that way, then the pic will show up right in the quick reply box. CLick the little pencil at the top left of each pic to change the size. "You cant do it this way when you go advanced and "manage attachments though." You have to add them like that to change the size.

I have been posting on (other vbulletin) forums for 4+ years and all of them disable this feature. I was a volunteer mod for some time, and it is now my full time job, 7 days a week. None of the other vb forums I post on use the rep system, because it is so corny and/or easily abused.
