is there a way if you can tell if its a purp pheno without flowering it...because I do a sog and would like to clone it.........will it be darker or anything ect.?

im not sure i was wondering the same thing. mine are only a week old and some are already purple and some are just yellow... not sure if that means anything though?

That is a good question. I did notice that the ones that I have that are already showing a purple hue, smell much sweeter when you do a stem rub, than those that are just green. I smoked some of a friends and haven't finished any on my own yet, they go into 12/12 next week so I will keep you guys posted. You'll have to let us know how that Skywalker turns out.

will do. probably start flowering in another 3 weeks. my NL should be ready to flower in a week or two...

No there is no way to tell if you have a purple pheno as a seedling or in veg, if you spot a plant that has the urkle traits early on and you know urkle that well,
you may be able to hazard a guess if it'l purple out on you in the end.

What i plan on doing is this, take one clone from each female prior to flowering and label each clone to its corresponding mother.

Keep these clones in veg while your seedgrowns are flowering and at the end if i get any purple phenos il keep the clone/s from them plant/s as my mothers and do a 25 plant sog, all purple phenotype.

Indeed, dropping the temps slightly towards the end promotes the purpling.

ive heard thats just a myth...

yea but its a myth worth trying for the extra purple.

but i think dropping the temps is worse than keeping it consistant. especially if it doesnt work...

Why?? Temps naturally drop in nature towards the end, its natural, its just replicating nature!

Its not one of these dumb myths like leaving a plant in the dark for 48hrs for extra resin or dropping a crushed contraceptive pill in the plants water will give you more females, dropping of temps is a practice thats been used for a long time to induce the natural final colours of plants, like when all the trees leaves go yellow, brown and red etc in autumn, its the same thing,its just the plants natural response to lower temps........

hahaha what the hell pills in the water? never heard that one... but yeah that makes sense, i just meant like if you were to purposely drop the temp like 10-15 degees at once like ive heard some people say rather then just having it drop gradually...

im surprised youve never heard the contraceptive pill myth haha

No i dont mean drop temps drastically by 10-15 degrees in one go i mean like 5 degrees drop max over the final two-three weeks.

No its not that, ive been a ganja smoker for a long time and i too have a "hot" wife (well i think she is anyway) and two beutiful children.
