Im @ 55days into flowering with reserve prada Twilight. It was said to be a purple strain in the description, and the pics showed a very purple, almost blue plant. The plant itself looks nothing like a indica, even though it is 100% indica. It's as tall as my silver haze and diesel was near the end of flowering, and there are no signs of puple anywhere on the plant. I'm very dissapointed in the seeds, as I was expecting purple plants.

Every strain has different pheno types. If you don'tlike this one plant another one. You will get the purps sooner of later

Some of these so called "purple" strains will need the grow space temps colder during the night cycle and gradually adding colder water into the nute res' near the the end of flower and through flush to actually turn in colour, most mari strains will do this too.

Purple is just a color some plants finish with under certain conditions. For instance, low nitrogen or cold temps seem to do it. A breeder is going to show you his best offspring, not just any plant gets the photo treatment,if it does, that's usually the plant you want to look for in the pack of seeds.

Purple is also a taste and a smell when referring to "purps"

I've had lime green "purps" they still have that purple taste and smell. Kinda like kush has that kush taste

I plan on giving it about 2 weeks of flushing, making total flower time 10-12 weeks depending on whether any purple shows up. As of now the buds are distinctly bigger in diameter than any other strain I've had (vanilla kush/silver haze/whitewidow). The smell is somewhat fruity/dank. The hairs that usually come up red on most strains are coming up as a brown/golden color on this plant. The trichomes are very dense on the cola leaves, probably more so than white widow.

I don't kno the estimated harvest time on this strain but you might wanna get a 30x jewlers loupe or handheld microscope with a light, they cost like 15$. That way you can see the color of the trichomes and see if its ready. If you wait too long thc will start to deteriorate.

The THC converts into CBD, creating more of a "couchlock" effect. This is what it known as a late harvest.
