finally checked out your journal resin! nice work man. thanks agian for all the advice on my foray into autos.

so what is the size of your closet? i don't think i ever saw the dimensions

and what is your final light source(s)? i saw you started with Amare and either added an Apache or two and maybe got rid of the Amare? and maybe a COB fixture in there as well?

thanks!

My space is 22 x 44,but I don't utilize the whole width, my growing area is basically a 2 x 2 with some storage and a small nursery on one side.

My main light source in an apache at200, I have a Kessil h380 (90 watts) on a gooseneck I use for babies and occasionally additional side lighting. I also have a Kessil a150 (35 watts) 15k ocean blue that I like to leave the plants under to finish.

I'm currently doing my first photo period run in a while, and the first in this closet. Just for something new. 345666.jpg
Here she is.. Hating life about now, but she'll get over it . making a few canopy adjustments.

nice! so those huge colas you had pics of were the apache? that's 200 watts minus a few for 4 sq ft? that's a helluva led then. how high do you keep it above the plants?

why did you dump the amare? not big enough?

The at200 pulls 170 watts from the wall or there abouts, I run 14 degree lenses and keep it 18inches above the plant. Yep all buds are currently grown with basically just this Apache led.

I stopped using the amare due to the height restrictions it put on me and it's tendency to create hot spots, I don't think it's a bad light, it just wasn't good for my space with height being limited. I'm not really a huge fan of cobs, from what I've seen they create hot spots. Even without lenses. I prefer the 3 watt array of the Apache, it's very even coverage of light.

When you are running 24 hour light cycles having those COBs beaming down on my plant was detrimental or at least i didnt like it. But anyways that's just my preference.

Thanks man! Thanks for stopping in :)
You kidding me! I've been following & enjoying your closet grows since I got here.
Such meaty colas full of trichs n resin. I see you're running a lil more now. Photos too hu?! That's cool! You have plenty of lights to get the job done.
I gotta catch up on my reading here. Always interesting to see what you use for a medium. I remember one time you went 100% perlite. N that plant was healthy as can be. I'll read back n catch up.

Update.

She is moving into flowering, filled up a 2 x 4 closet nicely, hand managing the canopy. The earlier training I did really paying dividends now...

Moved to 50 degree lenses on my at200 for better spread, it's really to much plant for this light I think, but I'm interested to see what it can do in this scenario.

Still feeding 6/9 Lucas with 1 gram of Epsom salt added. 1 gallon every 2 days.
