Retarded Marijuana Plant

It seems I have a retard Marijuana plant. A friend gave me a seed and now I am growing it under 3 CFL's. I have grown under CFL's before and usually they grow FAST -- but this is the only seed I had so I don't want to kill it, maybe I can do something with it.

Anyways, the seed had popped out of the pot I would say about 10 days ago.

The first picture I would say is day 7.

Then, the other 2 pictures are day 10 (est.).

I don't think that my plant is not getting enough light, I think it's just a retard, I've grown under CFLs before. This is just weird, anyways, input would be appreciated.

P.S.: I think the pot is about 10-12 inches. So you have a point of reference. The bulbs should also give you an idea of the size. That's mylar around the pot, it's very bright, brighter than my last CFL grow.

EDIT: I just noticed there's a stoned worm next to my plant, maybe he is responsible?

underdeveloped seed? also, because a plant isn't doing what you expect it to, doesn't make it "retarded." I hope you get brain damage.

sorry for disrespecting my marijuana plant. but yeah, dono, anything i can do? I'm low on $$$ so I can do w/e it takes like adding more or less water, another light possibly, but I can't afford to order seeds for 50 bucks.


my last grow was nice but when I bought a hps, it burned, so i sold the hps and got out of the game for a while.

is this seed a worthless cause? its all miniature and crap I don't want to give up even if there's a slice of hope, it's green and beautiful, just small

please post suggestions for me

What kind of soil is that? I don't see much perlite in it.

That's not nice,

No it's not a loss cause, keep it growing but don't water too much, watering everyday may be risky, also I'm thinking you might want to change up your soil or mix some perlite as Smoker stated.

i dont know but it looks like you have a hot dog with eyes growing out of your soil. maybe a heat issue.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's warm under there. Can you really put cfl's like that? I never really used them so forgive my ignorance.

I'll try adding some perlite, the heat thing... hmmm. I put my hand around the plant, it feels about 75 degrees with light on

haha, what i meant was that it doesn't feel that much warmer then room temp. lets keep quiet about my mercury hands

maybe the stoned worm in the picture is responsible, any other suggestions?

anyway idk some plants just have issues, let it grow and see what happens

thanks, yah, il prolly wait it out. gonna get the pelrite stuff, did some research its suppose to help with water retention, that may be it - more suggestions would be appreciated!

its turning out well, lets see what happens, thanks!

i have had a couple of seeds do the same thing, i just kept treating it normal and it grew out of it, they were also the last seeds of mine to sprout, oh and they both turned out male
