Here goes.

When you germinate some seeds, the seed breask and that white thingy pops out.

Now for the Retarded Question: Is that "white thingy" the beginning of the root or the plant?

i kinda gotta know because im going to be dropping them into some plugs i have and just realized i dont know which way to put them in.

Retarded answer is yes that is the root. Don't be afraid to ask, everybody had to learn somewhere. Use tweezers when you put those seeds in the medium and some nice low light to help them know which way is up.

wow, a dozen replies from people who don't know what they're talking about. yes, the white thing is the beginning of the tap root. no, it doesn't matter how you drop it in the soil. the root and seedling plant will orientate and grow itself in the proper directions using gravity.

unless you let it grow WAY too long, like an inch or so. then yes, plant the white tap root down and the green head up.
