Revenge worthy?

Hi All,
Ive got a bit of predicament on my hands and i thought id open it up to public discussion. Here goes... I lived in a shared house with 6 other people most of last year, I was the first to move in and was pretty desperate to get on the internet so I arranged it all, getting a decent TV package (even though I dont watch TV) and the best internet package available (50 meg considering there were so many of us). The landlord gave me a couple of hundred pounds towards the internet and we agreed to pay the rest. I argued that the landlord had broken the tenancy agreement we had mid way through the year and after a brief row with him I moved out. At this point the others asked me how much they owed me and I wasnt quite sure, considering I was paying monthly and was pretty stoned for the duration... I said leave it until the end of the year and Ill divide the total between us (generous, considering I was moving out after about 6 months, I couldnt put the internet contract into anyone elses name otherwise we would have had to start another 9/12 month contract). I didnt have much more to do with those people until they asked me to extend the contract for an extra month as some of them were staying a little longer, I did this, extending the 12 month contract and paying a cancellation fee. I then sent them the total - the landlords contribution and didnt even include the cancellation fee etc. They responded by saying that after I moved out they were hassled by the landlord etc etc and I shouldnt have moved out (something they were happy with at the time), they then said that they never agreed to pay that much etc etc (£25 each) I met with one of them today and He gave me the money up front saying Id been fair about it, the remaining 5 housemates (all girls incidently) are refusing to pay the £25 I requested, even though the real total would be more like £35. They are all really bitchy and have since bloacked me on facebook etc. after a long row, lasting months and involving me going to the bank and requesting all the statements for that period. It is apparent that they are refusing to pay it.
This is turning into a bit of a rant so ill cut it short, they are being totally unreasonable and each owe me £25 at the very least. I told them they didnt need to pay it right away and they could pay me whenever they could as long as they acknowledge that they owe it to me, no response and its been months now, I just want it resolved.

So essentially Im not too fussed about the money but the principle counts, I told them if i didnt hear back from them in the next week we would have to resolve this in some other way, Im thinking that as long as I have £25 worth of fun at each of their expenses then Ill be happy, this leads me to methods of revenge... suggestions are welcome but keep in mind theyre all girls in their late 20s, I was thinking about releasing rats into their new houses (I dont think any have moved too far away) but on reflection that seems bit silly.

+ Id be on the wrong side of the door to fully appreciate it. I have friends on the inside basically, I know people who are still friends with those girls... with the right coordination and planning i could access each of them in a public forum... im now thinking humiliation would be fun and satisfying (I have just checked my emails and have one from the bitchiest of the lot saying she had no respect for me and that she didnt owe me anything), this sort of attitude is totally unprovoked, I have been nothing but fair and nice to them. So if I can get them in a crowd, how can i humiliate them?

if you wanna have fun with them then do it, you deserve to have a little satisfaction. but if it were me and I didn't have a problem with losing the money I would let it go. I'm the type that is okay with losing a little if it means I get to see a persons true colors and get to know if this person is really a friend or not.

Kill the bitchy one, cut her head off and leave it at their front door with a note. They'll know you aren't fucking around and will pay you. Has worked for me on a number of occasions

I totally agree, I am a super relaxed person and I sorta wrote the amount off quite a while ago... on any other occasion I would forget about it, but some of the messages they have sent me, jesus christ, they are unbelievable. The attitudes on these girls is incredible and while living with them I more than pulled my weight, tidying up after them constantly and then being blamed for all the mess when I hadnt (seriously, not joking), I didnt say anything to them for fear of angering my housemates, spent as little time there as possible. They obviously think im not going to do anything, therefore why should they pay it back. They need to learn something from this, at a very basic level that their actions will have consequences and on a more personal level that theyve done wrong.

small claims court man. go see citizens advice. start the process and end them the correspondence. should be enough to scare them into paying up. probably cost you more to chase it though.

as for revenge the classics spring to mind ring every takeaway in the area and order for their houses same with the taxi's get the all black listed by them. the inconvenience should be worth £25 a go easy

have fun ;)

I appreciate the advice, but I think that they should learn a lesson of some sort. These are not like normal women, theyve all been in education their entire lives and cant go into the real world thinking this is the way to behave - very immaturely. As long as I can do something light hearted which will get them back in some minor way Ill be happy, plus ive got an extended xmas holiday off work so Im thiking that will be the ideal time to exact my revenge.

They will never accept they were wrong. And in their eyes you will now be wrong twice.
I would be acceptable to your revenge if it was one female. You might as well take on a coven of witches, Same thing :hump:

I'd say cut your losses. This is because of you, not them. If you move out, cancel the darn account. You set yourself up for this one :) It would be like me going away for 6 months and leaving the gas and electricity bill under my name and just assuming on blind faith that it will all be paid off properly.

Folk that try and get revenge on people, well i just consider those as people i would not want to have anything to do with :) they are lower than low.
