Revolution - Leadership

Does anyone else feel that this country...That this WORLD is heading for the gutters more and more each year?

Globalization has already happened. When our country went from a manufacturing economy to all of our companies and jobs moving over seas; our economy became based on investments and finances. No need to elaborate...What happened when our 'economic crisis' happened? when the stock market basically collapsed? what happened in Japan and in France, around the world? They're stock markets crashed and bit and investors went broke. that's globalization...need I explain why?

But anyway - I forgot who, but one of the revolutionist from way back said, "When the banks take over the country, another revolution must take place." or something along those lines. Well...The banks have taken over the country, it's been that way for some time. Not to mention all of the other problems facing our country and this world...that advice should be taken.

does anyone here feel that if some brave people wanted to revolt against the government and the corruption...that they would join them? Would you be part of the revolution and stand up for your countrymen? Do you even feel that we need that revolution?

and my second question has to do with leadership. People argue whether leadership is needed or not in a situation. mostly sociologists. What do you think?

Would it take leadership and organization for a revolution? would we need one person to step up and say we've had enough so that others would follow? or are we capable of banding together on our own?

I'm just curious to see how you guys feel about the world today. I'm curious to know what you think has to change, what should be done to keep us from the dark roads we're heading down. just post your thoughts, anything you feel on these matters.

Revolution like the one in 1776 is definently off the table. Napalm, clusterbombs, 500, 1,000, 5,000, and MOABs, Hueys, miniguns with night vision, rockets, f-16s, F-15s, F-18s, F-24s, Tanks, bradleys, all sorts of nasty anti-personel weapons pretty much take that venue off the table. A coup from the inside is the only way to change the PTB, Lots of bloodletting at the top, bring back the guillotine. The stupid ass American people voted Bush in for a second term, and are now enamored with that dolt Sarah Palin, and you expect change. Talk about putting lipstick on a pig. I'm sure Obama didn't mean that comment to be about Sarah, But I certainly do. They've taken this country Bumkin and put some lipstick on her and trotted her out to be a "Heartbeat away" as that genious Vi likes to say. Can anyone with even a modicum of intelligence tell me what makes her qualified to run the (ex) most powerful country in the world?

Something is already happening with this $700 bllion proposal; that was a great prdiction by that person you quoted. Globalization was and is an invetiable thing; the problems stems from where people attempt to block it; at best it needs to be consistent with the theory of evolution.

Think about it like this; a small business expanding because if the expansion of demand oof its products; the problem is as the product demand expand; the excutive and office service are not keeping up withthe expansion. What I am saying is the U.S. has not been recognizing the pattern of this global expansion principal enoough to keep up withthe evolution. The body is getting fatter and demanding more bu ththe head is getting smaller.

The U.S. has to permit the intelluactuals to be more invloved in the expansion. What I am trying to say, is that if the world was a giant human body growng over time and if the U.S. was the pioneer or say the head and the body; and consistently, the rest of the wrorld too was the part of the body/manufacturering; but it made natural sense based on education institutions for the U.S. to assume more intellectual or head/mind based roles bcause of the expansion of the body/manufacturering.

The problem is the U.S. has been so committed to the body/manufacturering, that its not nurturing the head right. The block is the problem; let the minds of America free; the parent trap.

I'm sorry, but this is just rambling without any reason. I think the head has left the body,~LOL~.

Your right, of course Med.

Perhaps the best course to take would be to run a "Country Bumkin" governor from Arkansas ... Oh, wait! We did that already.

I think he was from Hope, wasn't he?

And, I'm sure that Country Bumkin from Hope dealt with a lot of lipstick on a lot of pigs. bongsmilie

I am ready for a revolution and I think we could actually pull it off. Our military is busy off in other countries and those that are still around here are becoming just as disgruntled as the rest of us.

The citizens are sick of the shit. Let's being back the guillotine and fast. Government should fear the people, not people fearing the government.

Oh yeah, and with the American financial crisis, cost of gas up, people losing their jobs and homes, have you noticed any politicians taking a pay cut to ease up the burdon on the rest of us? Hell no, I bet when they get the bailout set they'll go ahead and vote theirselves a raise too.
