RFI from digi/electronic ballast

hey guys,

been doing so much light research the last week or so, my head is about to pop. all the shizz i have seen regarding radio frequency interference from digital ballasts is a couple years old, is this still an issue with new production ballasts? we have relatively cheap magnetic ballasts here in Germany (ETI) which im fairly certain will negate the problem all together, but im not sure about running both a MH/HPS bulb from the same set up or if there is something else needed like switching wiring etc.

any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Joe

I have 3 Lumatek 1000/600/400w multi bulb ballasts that are reported to give off RF interference.

Thing is it's the sub standard hood cabling that cause the issue and does not occur when the proper shielded 530v ul hood cable is used

I checked the ballasts with a am radio right in the room and it was clear

I have read that a wall socket with a loose ground could cause rf noise issues as well its something to be aware of.
