So this is from today, day 10. Today I added a light dose of grow nutes to the res to begin a little more top growth. The ones that were getting sprayed with the rhizo definitely were healthier looking, but technically were the only ones getting anything that would make them look good. Those results probably couldve come from any light dose of grow nutes foliar fed.
At this point if the experiment were to stop now (which maybe it should because now its not based off of just water and Rhizotonic), I think it helped a little.
I would definitely say that although the ones sprayed with Rhizo were not too much bigger than the rest in root development, they were definitely more uniform. Almost all of them caught up to being the same size as the largest ones in the cloner where some of the non-Rhizo ones had some large, some small, some tiny. I think (just from this experiment) that it is pointless for me in my system to foliar with Rhizotonic from days 5-7 because almost nothing happened. It was after some serious development started that it really showed me anything. In other experiments that I had done in the past, I do know the benefits of Rhizo in hydro root development when added to a reservoir. I think adding Rhizo to the root zone is what I may go back to because i think the benefits are far more drastic. I think coming up in the next few weeks it will be time to check 2 different reservoirs, one Rhizo at first sign of roots, and one plain water the whole way.
As of right now, this is how everything looks: First pic is a shot under the lid (Rhizo in the back, notice how they are almost they same size with smaller ones in the other areas that got no rhizo.), 2-4 are plain water, 5 is no water, 6-8 are the Rhizo foliar fed.
