Rick Simpson Oil smells like alcohol

My growner in Oregon provided me with half a pound of ac/dc. I had a friend who said he knew what he was doing turn it into RSO. He used food grade corn alcohol. The finished product still has a strong odor of alcohol and burned the mouth. I don't think its suppose to be this way. The RSO at dispensaries has no alcohol odor at all. Is this safe for medicine or is it no good? I am very sensitive and sick due to 15 years of neurological lyme

You need to get the rest of the alcohol out, whoever made it did a half assed job..........
Put your oil in a dish and suspend it in a hot water bath, no more than 160F to prevent decarbing. Stir it constantly for about 5 minutes after it has been warmed up. It should bubble. Stir often until it stops bubbling. let it cool to room temperature slowly

It should be fine after that.

Why throw it out? Waste of alot of good meds for absolutely ZERO reason. Just need to be purged a bit longer as said above.

If you have a vac purge chamber, toss it in there and let it do its magic. I did some qwiso in my chamber last time out and worked perfectly.

Zero reason? How do you know the oil isn't contaminated with anything else? What if he messes up the purge again. Don't try to fix someone else's mistake when it comes to concentrate. Just toss it man, not worth the health risks of smoking alcohol or whatever else could be in there. I love how you say a waste of good meds..when they weren't good to begin with lol.

Can't fuck up a purge.. well only if you didn't purge long enough.



I do this for a living. I grow professionally for 6 ppl, 2 MS patients, 1 cancer patient, 3 RA patients. Why toss hundreds of $ of meds away when the remedy is so damn simple.

I did. It's just a a reply within your quote on accident. I said it's nice you're growing, and making meds for people. His friends messed up something so simple. We don't know OP situation either. As you said you're a pro, obviously these guys are not. What's simple to you is hard for others.

He only said it still smells like alcohol. Meaning it's not been properly.purged. Nothing else to render it useless or to throw away.
