I am fucking stunned. One of my fav players of all time, and such a smart, kind dude. I feel so bad for his kids, too. RIP, Kobe!!!

Seems too surreal to me. Being a huge Lakers fan myself I just can't believe it.

That's pretty wild. You never know if there'll be another tomorrow. Never was into sports mainly knew him cuz of Chappelle's Show. Probably gonna take a helicopter ride off the bucket list. In my mind with a mechanical failure with an airplane you cAn at least glide for a bit. Seems like a mechanical failure with a helicopter and you just fall from the sky like a sack of potatoes. I've also watched that Twilight Zone Vic Morrow Faces of Death way too many times.

I have drove through los vergenes canyon many times when I go to Pepperdine University. Today was extremely foggy ,so if you go though that pass , even if your driving visibility is around 50 feet . I’ve personally drove through it ..... don’t think it was mechanical error.

Apparently his daughter was with him... she was only 13. Both of them way too young. Smh
