Risers to keep smart pots off the floor?

I'm using milk crates to keep my smart pots off of the greenhouse floor. Is there something on amazon that is recommended for this purpose, and is ideally only 3" or less in height? Breathability is important.

Got a Dremel or small angle grinder? You can cut those crates to whatever height you'd wish.

Just be aware that you'll be cutting plastic, which in reality the blades at high speed will be melting the plastic as opposed to actually cutting. The blade will be gunked up. Along the cut, since the plastic is melted, you'll need to file off the flash (if you want it pretty). But yeah, either will do the job.

I use smartpots/geopots outdoors and I have all of mine up on cheap trellis arbor that I picked up at a yard sale for $6. Picked up four of them. Certain nursery flats also fit 10 gallon smart pots perfectly. Then I put em' up on bricks. Get creative. There's a lot that can be found in a nursery dumpster!

I buy these at the grow shop in the section where I buy bags and drip pans. They fit in the pan and come in multi sizes.

I have a few wire ones with wheels
Im sure amazon has them if you look around.

Oh yeah! My hydro shop has those too. Forgot all about em. They're like $1 to $3 each.

A lot of ingenuity in this thread. I'd have just used cinder blocks.or bricks or whatever the hell was laying around my back yard. Although I like the plant thingies with castors on the bottom. You can move plants around the grow room floor easier. My back says thank you.

Free pallets off of craigslist or similar sites work. Maybe check your local grocery store in the back.

Buy some small nails, some 2x1s and a bunch of half round dowels and make your own plant lifts. I've done it often for pot plants... doesn't look bad either... has a Japanese vibe to it.

I don't want bricks or cinderblocks in my apartment unless necessary

I use Rmax-Thermasheath 1 inch thick styrofoam insulation from Lowes or Home Depot. It has the nice reflected surface on one side.

Cut the top 2 inches off the top of a bucket with a blade. Sit the fabric pot directly on the 2 inch cut-off piece. You can easily make 5 or more stands from a bucket, For bigger pots, use bigger buckets and so on. I have 30 litre fabric pots standing on a 10 litre bucket piece cut off

Make Sure that any water can drain away from the fabric pot stand by cutting out an arch at the bottom. This will stop any runoff from staying within the stand. If the fabric pots stands are always full of water, the tap roots will grow into it eventually
