RO water system - HELP!!

My RO system connected to the sink, keeps popping off the sink nozzle. Is that an indication that the RO membrane needs to be replaced?

Its def coming from too much pressure build up. I did a PH test and its coming out over 7.0. Somethings not right.

Mabye an indication to not use RO on a small scale lol I hear smaller RO systems waste a shit ton of water. distilled is purer anyways. Any reason you can't use your tap? There's only a small amount of people with tap that's unsuitable for growing.

PH is not going to indicate that. TDS will show if the filter is going bad and usually there is a pressure drop not an increase.

What is popping off? the hose connected to a spout? should there not be a compression nut so this does not happen? The RO output is low pressure, the water coming into the RO is high pressure (usually 60-80 PSI needed for RO systems depending on the GPD).

You may have a faulty ASO (auto shut off) which shuts off the drain waste when the output end is shut off by a spout, valve or a tank (for under sink systems).

I just did what people recommended, plus I wanted an RO water system to filter the poison they dump in tap. I hadn't messed with the RO system in a while and thought my wife broke it. I am going to try tap my next DWC build. For some reason I thought the PH was much lower the last time I tested, but cannot remember. Tested the PPM and we are almost at none, so I think the faucet adapter might be the culprit.
