Here are the most recent drawings, I did two SATAN submissions this week, it really takes me back and drawing with pencils is so much quicker than ink, and I feel like I can shade the way I have always wanted to, going as dark as I want here. Both of these are unreferenced. For women's faces I usually have to erase and re-draw MANY times to get it to where I am satisfied, but with the finer pencil and texture/tooth of the bristol paper, it has made it much easier and quicker.

Great stuff Bot! Your work has a very sophisticated feel to it both technically and creatively. Yeah I wish I was around for Halloween at ig. That looked like so much bloody fun. Those pieces are crazy cool. Thanks for sharing them here. I love looking at your work . You should try to have an art show in a gallery in the city.

Thank you! And yeah, I'm sure they will do it again this year so it should be cool! :)
And haha I'm not that good for art shows, just having fun with it for now.
Thank you so much for the support, it's really comforting to know someone else does a similar activity while high.

Here is the latest drawing I am working on. I just started today. I smoked the deadhead og again, was VERY high, near panic level at one point, haven't been that high in a while, happy i got to draw this. I discovered that doing the details and small shaded areas really calms me down, I get real close to the paper, its great. And getting the basic idea out quickly seems to work for shit like this for me. I drew something similar almost a year ago. Have learned a lot since then, but it is also very similar. Still a lot to fix at this point, but you get the idea.

that is one mean looking critter man, I WOULD NOT wanna meet up with that thing, no way! all those legs are scary as fuck... but i like the intricacy of the layers of them.
I hear ya about art shows. They suck. I have had a few in the past. I hated all of them. I had an art show for my lovebirds art work once that got a better response then mine, Thats when i was like fuck this shit. lol
I had this love bird once, her name was
Ghostface, the meanest fucking bird ever... But my other lovebird was in love with her so we delt with her bullshit for his sake. We actually returned her to the shop after she bit a huge piece of flesh out of my hand...but then Pickle went into a deep depression so had to get her back for his sake.... They had a lot of babys and she got big into shredding paper. I guess some kind of maternal instinct of something...So i would feed her all sorts of colorful paper and fold it and shit and she would shred the most wicked designs.. It was like are you kidding me? i d open up the paper and it would be like this sick intricate complicated patters kinda like this.. but not as slick because her beak shredded the paper like a sewing machine.

Oh man that is so cool, were you drawing the same way when you did the art show? I don't think my stuff would be appropriate, no one in my real life even knows I draw, and I don't know if anyone would be interested anyway. And that is cool that your birds did this, some animals just do shit like this. Have you seen this one fish? She makes patterns in the sand :)

 Big Lou, Ilove how creative the characters on that show were, this, ninja turtles, and real ghost busters, need to re-watch so much shit from my childhood. Recently got to watch something I havent seen since I was like 6, it was the old 1940s Mickey and the Beanstalk animation. I must have watched it a ton back then, but just recently watched it after smoking and it was pretty incredible.bongsmilie
Here is some progress on that creature from this evening, could see a little more clearly :weed: Going to add more shading and details soon

Is that one spider ? Omg. I think maybe not. She is getting boned from the back while doing a bong hit. ?Lol. That is wild.that big cyclops spider thing is hysterical. He looks so full of hot air. I guess when he explodes in her he would deflate to a flattened worthless pancake.lol.. She is quite talented being able to hold the bong with such precision. LMAO. Her claws really look like they are holding it. Nice work pulling that one off. Even the nipps are done really well, they look real realistic. The techniques you use to shade is real impressive. The texture you created is fa-nominal.:clap:bongsmilie:weed: nice action piece.:hump: what kinda paper is that?

Thank you, DAT. You guys are too kind on here. Not sure what it is, maybe its eating her out :) She's definitely presenting herself with the ass up. This is kind of what happens when I don't have any idea of what to draw, if something makes sense at the moment , its going down on paper, not much forethought here. Sometimes working so fast, the pencils break.

Still unsure why everything seems so inconsistent, I have a hard time drawing the same thing twice.:wall:

The paper is bristol vellum, you told me about 8) I love it. Takes erasing and re-working nicely, and you can press deep into the paper with the sharp lead to get the outlines. :p

The best paper! It's all I use. I have 2 sketchbooks Bristol smooth and one vellum. It was a special order. They are the SHhhiiiiiiTT! Yes yes . ...you recognize the textural potential of the paper. I'm impressed! Now don't get all uptight about creating. Your a natural so you don't have to try hard. Just let the creative juices FLOW like lava . Seems to be working just fine! I dig the political spin your work has!!

DAT: what are these special sketchbooks?? My new sketchcook is this one,
(it has a pretty good surface, but it is not as thick as the bristol vellum)

LOL OK! I like the lifeform drawing club on ig because it gives something to focus on otherwise things get bizarre like this sketchbook drawing, but you get it :) Going to post the uncensored version:

I like all your work Robot. Logic. Lifeform can kiss my ass! I submitted 2 drawings to that punk ..which I worked real hard on and I know we're better then a lot of the sorry ass kiddy crap he posted...but I guess they weren't good enough to post. :cuss:All the bullshit advertising they do and it's so high school oriented. I'm kinda down on them right now but in understand where your coming from.
That site you mentioned previously, blick, carries the sketch book . This is it.they have vellum too.

This is just paper cover. Rip it off and the cover is this. After each finished drawing I spray with final fixative so it don't smear onto the other pages.IMG_1880.JPG

Don't get discouraged with the lifeform submissions, just using that hashtag lets more people find your work, but yeah man, that advertising is shit on IG, although I did end up pre-ordering the shirt Corinne Halbert did, I identify with her work for some weird reason, I really love it.

I have seen people post about that sketchbook before, need to get my hands on the vellum one :)
I am done with smooth papers for pencil though. After trying the vellum, I'm sticking with it.

Also, this is the fixative I picked up last time I went to blicks, I haven't used it yet, what do you think? right thing? I've used workable fixative before, but that was like over 10 years ago, not sure if this is different.

Yes that is the stuff I use. Spray it outside . I spray one coat, wait about 5-10 min and spray another coat. I then take the sketch book and wrap it up in a plastic bag overnight until the intense toxic smells goes away. Will you post a picture of yourself in the lifeform t shirt when you get it. I would love to see how it looks on you. Have a nice weekend!

Thank you, I will do that, wasn't sure what the process was for using that fixative. I will try to post a pic of the shirt whenever it gets here. Thank you, you have yourself a wonderful weekend as well!
